The goal of Half-Life 2 : MMod is to enhance and expand gunplay, combat mechanics and the immersion factor by giving the Player more options and combat opportunities as well as refine how the Player handles his arsenal. I am confused; by "Random Firefights", do you mean examples of what firefights are going to look like in the mod? Or is this mod going to feature randomized encounters?

How the launch of custom mods through MMod will be implemented ?
If mod you wanna play doesn't have custom binaries ( .ddl's ) ( or changes are not very drastic ) then you can put it into modfolder/custom and load first map through console, I'll do my best from my side to ensure best compatibility.
Have said it problaby before but say it again, am very impressed by how good the explotions look now. And the overall gun behavior and sound. And i was very impressed by the level design although i now understand that this is a level made by someone else. You used it to show your mod, which is a great way, don't get me wrong please.

I love every second of this; the chromatic aberration when shot, the sprint in/out animations, just beautiful! One thing I would suggest is to maybe make the SMG grenade explosions a little larger, they look cartoonishly small atm. I'm so excited for release, this is some amazing work you're doing!

I think there will be a choice between which explosion effect you can use, Classic ( current ) and brand new one, which look a little more half-life 2 ish.

I like the regeneration when being low on HP, it's a nice add, it always bothered me to die because you had 5hp for instance.
This looks incredible. Great, punchy sounds and weighty animations. This is better-looking and feeling combat than most of the recent shooters I have played. Props to you all, can't wait to get my hands on it.
If only you found a way to get an improved lighting system going this would be freakin' amazing all around.
Would also be cool to see this mod featured on the SMC because I know a lot of people would be interested in what you're working on.

currently still WIP tho waiting for custom animations but still a functional replacement for the stock AR2

I'm interested in your work on the custom MP7 model, but the S-LAR carbine looks and is held too much like a shotgun IMO. BTW, why is its muzzleflash yellow?

Cool, but as much as the weapons feel powerful, you can clearly see that they aren't. Enemies are still the same bullet sponges. I hope that changes later on.
It's totally not like they're wearing body armor made for heavy damage or anything. Or in any case retaliation via firearms.
you're right from a realistic standpoint it makes sense, but from a game play standpoint it just sucks.
i have to say *thank you* for not adding traditional iron sights that cover 50% of the screen

Very low damage from the enemies and they are still too stupid.
