I have created a prop model of a butcher knife that appears in the map I uploaded to the workshop in the past, and this time, I have made it into a weapon addon.
This addon allows you to use (attack) it against enemy NPCs and friendly NPCs (although friendly fire is not recommended) Since it borrows the system from the Crowbar, the way it is used remains the same as the basic traditional Crowbar. By combining it with other bloodstain addons, you can recreate horror effects and dark action.
There was a word from a friend behind the making of this weapon. I gave him the model of this weapon as a gift, but he said to me, 'How fun would it be if this knife could be used as a weapon mod (addon)?' I liked his words and started working on creating this weapon addon. It took me 7 days to create this addon, and it was quite a painful process. Since I had never touched Lua language before, I searched for tutorials and templates on the internet and received advice from talented users. In the end, the work was completed, but it seemed like my friend had forgotten those words. However, I learned a lot from this project and became able to take on various challenges.
Furthermore, since this weapon addon directly converts the prop model, it is smaller and narrower than the hand model. Therefore, there were no issues during the work in the 3DCG software, but there is a gap between the knife model and the hand model during gameplay. I have no intention of fixing this, and if I were to fix it, I would consider recreating the model from scratch to match the hand model. I think it would improve the appearance.
I just want to make it clear that this is not a weapon lying on the ground, so even if you search for the model in my past maps, you cannot use it as a weapon. You must spawn it as a weapon from the weapons menu.
Please download and play this addon if you're interested.
Thank you for reading the article :)
I will continue to improve my skills to return to mod making.

This map is a remastered version of the community map "[ Third Park ]" released on the Garry's Mod Steam Workshop on March 24, 2024. ( Moddb.com )
I'm currently in the process of creating a new map based on a community request, and I have reverse-ported the materials created experimentally during the alpha version production to this map.The texture size is not much different from the original version, but there are many improvements to the textures. Therefore, when playing on a laptop or an older generation PC, there is a possibility of slower performance or other weapon and item content not loading.
The background behind the creation of this map is related to the development of a new map, which was quite large in scale. For the new map currently in production, the goal is to create a realistic and tense atmosphere for players. Therefore, the focus is on improving the materials. As a result, I felt that it would be difficult to entertain community players with the conventional custom textures, so I attempted to adopt new textures. I became interested in the PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials on the Source Wiki, and since I already had tools to automatically generate textures, I tried to forcefully apply them to the map. As a result, I was able to create something close to but different from the usual materials, producing a prototype version of the new map. Then, I thought about what would happen if I applied this result to the Third Park map, which led to the creation of this map.
There aren't any major changes, but I've made some adjustments to certain 3D models and settings like sunlight. I've also added rain.
I would be delighted if you could download this map from the workshop and enjoy comparing the original version with the remastered version ;)

This map, which is an addon map for Gmod, allows you to freely move around inside a coffee shop modeled after a real one, shoot videos or take photos, and use your favorite addons. It is equipped with Navmesh and other features necessary for using addons and existing AI nodes like NEXTBOT, allowing you to create many experiences and memories in this cozy and atmospheric space.
This map's feature is its original custom models and textures. With over 30 3D-modeled custom models, this map aims to make the interior more realistic. You can see many essential items such as tables, chairs, shelves, dishes, spoons and forks, and even a Japanese-style toilet, which will give you a slightly different feel from regular GMOD. Additionally, there are custom wall textures and posters with custom textures. The posters reproduce real items found in the shop. You will also be able to find Easter eggs from a map I previously created. In other words, this map is related to that map, and it is expressed through textures.
I forgot to mention, but I have also reproduced pedestrians. The NPCs are the usual ones from HL2, but I have used entities and the I/O system to make it look like pedestrians are walking outside the shop. Yes, it can be a bit scary if there are no people outside at all.
The background of creating this map involves a suggestion from the owner of a coffee shop I frequent. We often talk about me creating maps and sharing them online while I drink coffee at this shop. The owner, who understands this well, suggested to me, "Why not make a map of this shop?" He highly praised a map I had created in the past called "Midnight Hunt - Target of Assassination" and he thought it would be interesting to create a virtual space of this shop in the map, saying it could be an interesting world for the shop's fans. I thought to myself, "Indeed, this is an interesting attempt." If the streets and shops of the real world could become mods, you could wreak havoc or do whatever you want without bothering others. With this in mind, I began working on the map experimentally.
Additionally, I purchased 2DCAD software and other texture software to improve my development skills. Since I was a beginner with 2DCAD software, it took me quite a while to get used to it, and I had to buy a textbook, so I couldn't turn back once I started designing. Especially with consideration for the dimensions of Hammer and Blender 3D, the map creation process was stressful and pressured than ever before. However, I believe this experience has elevated me to a new stage.
This map is modeled after a coffee shop founded in 1985 in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan (City 4714). The founder passed away a few years ago, and his son now runs the shop as the second-generation owner. It is located in an alley off the main street in the city center, like a hidden gem of a coffee shop. The shop has many core fans and is always full of regular customers. However, this recreated map was made to reproduce the inside of the building and is not intended for promotional purposes for the shop. As evidence, the original menu does not list prices, and the menu itself is considerably smaller than the actual size.
Enjoy the calm and relaxing atmosphere of the space ;)
Please check out the Steam Workshop page for downloading the map and more details
I have released a version on the Steam Workshop where the development of the park horror map sandbox version, which was previously set at night, has been changed to noon.
In the previous map, the setting was a rainy night with poor visibility, but this map is set at noon in a park where it is not raining. The visibility has improved, making everything around you much clearer. You won't feel any fear in this setting.
This map was inspired by a suggestion from some users in the GMOD Japanese community who had played the previous map. They proposed brightening up the space, as they wanted to play with Nextbots and suggested making it easier to escape. They seemed to like this map, so I decided to accommodate their request.
Please enjoy the space of the empty park at noon

On March 10, 2024, I published the sandbox map "gm_desolate_boundary_line" on Steam Workshop. This map is for Garry's Mod and allows players to freely test other addons and mods
This map is a sandbox version of a horror map set in a late-night park in modern Japan, featuring a mini-game. The map is themed around modern Japanese horror, allowing players to explore 3D models with Japanese text and parks or graveyards resembling Japanese regional cities. Since it's a sandbox map, there are no enemies, but to convey the horror theme, there are soundscapes and events with harmless ghosts to provide a sense of unease.
Furthermore, I used original 3D models and models from external sources, as well as a custom skybox, to enhance the horror atmosphere of the map. Initially, when creating this map, I incorporated scenes that would make Japanese people feel uneasy or scared, and later, I abstracted these scenes to evoke fear in anyone. As a result, I decided to create a scenario commonly seen in movies where there is nowhere else to run, and only the enemy and oneself are present. In such a scenario, it was necessary to create a deserted town or park, so I chose to set it in an uninhabited park. The key element required to create this setting was 3D models, which meant I needed to create them with my limited knowledge.
Many of the 3D models I created were related to life and death. These included signs indicating no entry, cones warning of the danger of falling, embodiments of bloody Buddhas (connected to hell), and bulletin boards announcing missing persons. While these were relatively easy to model, I felt uneasy when drawing textures for the models. At times, I felt so unwell that I had to stop modeling altogether.
There is still a lot of information that I cannot disclose, but if you are interested after seeing the screenshots, please give it a try
[ Gmod ] The House : Zombie Map | Remake
On version 1.0.4 of the addon map 'The House: Zombie Map | Remake' released on February 2, 2024, I added a custom model to the map after creating a bull's knife model using Blender 3D modeling software
This model can be manipulated with weapons gravity gun and contributes to the atmosphere of the map's space
Creating 3D models was a venture I hadn't attempted in several years, with my last model creation dating back to my first map creation
I utilized free drawing software and plugins to create materials and textures
As for QC files, there are still many untranslated sections in the wiki, and I'm not yet fully accustomed to creating them
However, I'm continuing to study and strive to understand the details thoroughly
I'm looking forward to bringing enjoyment to many players with the updated version of this map as well
Thank you for reading the article until the end!
Our team uploaded a video of the walkthrough on YouTube on February 2, 2024
This is a video of the play, but you will enjoy the atmosphere of the map more if you actually play it ;)
And I also published a map for the sandbox of this map in the workshop
This map does not have NPCs appearing on it, so it is possible to enjoy the map in various ways
There are many uses, such as creating videos, your own original course, or pursuing further realism
We hope you enjoy our sandbox map as much as we do !
I began my rehabilitation in map creation under the name of "Map Making" on Steam Workshop last year as part of my return to MOD development
The reason behind this was the need to acquire map-making skills to revive the development of a MOD that is currently on hiatus
While I could have enlisted someone else's help in map creation, I felt a sense of urgency that if I didn't learn the skills myself, I wouldn't be able to make necessary adjustments
So, without relying on anyone, I started map making...
It has been both enjoyable and challenging, akin to embarking on a grand adventure, providing me with various learning opportunities and experiences... (and this journey continues)
In the meantime, I have released several maps on the respective workshops and to my delight, many users have taken the initiative to capture videos of the maps I created and upload them to various video-sharing sites
I was genuinely pleased by this, so I would like to showcase those videos in this blog
And I would like to express my gratitude for providing such opportunities to game and MOD developers as well as video streamers
Thank you very much !

Now, help the couple and their family in their holiday home deep in the mountains
There are many zombies there that have entered from the outside
They and their spouses have contacted you to rescue them
Take care of all the zombies in the villa and protect the villa and their family
This map is a remake of the Garry's MOD's Steam Workshop single-player zombie map "The House" created by Y5
M4, a teammate of Y5, assisted her in releasing the first Source map ( This Map ) she created
When she decided to remake the map, she approached M4 to undertake the project
That's how this map came to be
This map is set in a single mansion where you and your allies battle against zombies
While it is a simple map, it allows players to experience the pain and fear of fighting in a place reminiscent of a secluded mansion in a late-night forest... a location one would rather avoid
Lighting
Firstly, in the process of creating the remake, I significantly altered the intensity of the lighting
In the original version, the entire house was illuminated, creating a well-lit space
However, personally, I felt that the map lacked elements of fear and unease
To address this, I minimized the lighting to a bare minimum
Progression of the game map
The video of the original map (as referenced above) illustrates a very simple layout where players enter through the front door, ascend the stairs, and escape through the back exit
In the remake of this work, the progression of the map fundamentally remains the same as the original version
However, complexity and nuances have been added to enhance the overall enjoyment
Naturally, Y5, the original map creator, has played and approved the addition of these extra elements to the map
NPC's
In the original map of the previous installment, all allied NPC characters assisted you from the beginning Now, in the remake map of the current installment, they are now divided based on specific areas
Thank you for reading this article until the end!
Now, let's embark on a journey to rescue the family in the mountain villa
I look forward to witnessing your brave game map play
Midnight Hunt : Target of Assassination - Adventure / Single
Read more about the map on the Steam Workshop page
I have created and released a single player adventure map for Garry's MOD for the unofficial Japanese user community group and Japanese playing users at the end of 2023 in steam workshop.
This map is a strategy to defeat the enemy within a few small areas and very close to realistic in content, with many enemies and little health.
The protagonist of this map is the weakest civilian, not the strongest protagonist as in other maps and mods. It will be a tense map as health often decreases.
Tonight's mission for our rebel assassination squad is to take out the enemy elite soldiers who are staying at the hotel. We will launch the raid at 2 am... and We will attack the hotel from the front entrance as squad A, and squad B will attack later from the rooftop and pool area on the second floor. This hotel is managed by the enemy forces, and we don't know much about it.All we know is that this hotel is full of enemies. An elite soldier of the enemy, he is in charge of the organization that controls this area and has an adversarial relationship with our own organization.According to some information, he will soon introduce a system to control citizens and brainwashing weapons throughout the city... So...we must stop him by any means necessary and restore peace to the city.
I had two weeks to create this map, and before that I had created another map, but I knew it would be difficult to keep the users entertained.
So I decided to stop working on the current map and switch to a shorter but more enjoyable map like this one.
The model for the location on this map is Shiroyama Park, located under Matsuyama Castle.
Having used this park on my commute to work several years ago, I thought it would be interesting to base my workshop map on this location.
Also, many of the areas in the map are taken from maps I have created in the past.
