Made by Gearbox Software and originally released in 2001 as an add-on to Half-Life, Blue Shift is a return to the Black Mesa Research Facility in which you play as Barney Calhoun, the security guard sidekick who helped Gordon out of so many sticky situations.
This is a Zip version for the v1.1 patch for Half-Life: Blue Shift. The original patch "bspatch.exe" checks for a Half-Life: Blue Shift installation. In some cases, the installation is not recognized, for example after a Windows reinstallation, making it impossible to patch the game. To install this patch, just unzip and overwrite the files in your Blue Shift installation folder. This patch can be used in combination with the Blue Shift Unlocked patch - just patch your Blue Shift folder with this patch to 1.1 BEFORE applying the Blue Shift Unlocked patch. How did I create the patch? Since the regular bspatch.exe refused to recognize my Blue Shift installation, I reinstalled the game from my CD-ROM. Then I renamed the installation folder and created an empty installation folder. Then I applied the bspatch.exe, which resulted in the patch files being written into the empty folder. You can verify this patch's integrity by repeating the steps above and comparing the files, if you want.
i need help, where do i get the files for Blue Shift at, and where to i place the patched files at, i can't seem to get it to work.
First of all, do you have the Steam or the retail (CD) version of Blue Shift? Steam has possibly already patched the game.

Does the patch include a changelog? I'm curious to know what exactly was changed.
