Perfect for mods and very fun even to play online, *coughs and it doesn't have that confusing bfvietnam interface
It's not exactly pretty, but it gets the job done. Sparsely populated environments with a focus on gameplay rather than distracting you with clutter.
Loved the portrayals of other scientists with HEV suits blasting their way to the surface. What's to say there's not more than one Gordon?
Just absolutely thrilling chase sequences. Chaotic and panicky, but a lot of fun. Good use of Gargantuae.
Excellent scripting and worldbuilding, commonly seen through glass. Although it's occasionally janky: "fOr gOd'S sAkE oPeN tHe SiLo DoOr" as it's already open. Then he goes to grab a quick snack from the vending machine. For god's sake, my blood sugar is crashing!
Not much plot. It never was revealed who that anime chick was and then the Nihilanth explodes?
Is it just me or do the HEV scientists have the same voicelines, just a little deeper with a more badass intonation?
Are those aliens? And a UFO? Lmfao. But boy those suckers are tough. Fun to fight because while they are tanks, they don't do much damage.
Goddamn this game gives you so much ammo. Jesus.
Weapon review:
-minigun kinda sucked. Bad recoil, bad accuracy, and bad damage is already bad, now throw in that slow startup? NEXT
-alien laser pistol seemed weak at first, but I quickly warmed up to the powerful light grenades and extreme rapid fire that more than made up for damage output. Felt like a flamethrower that was fun to use at short range.
-M16 is one of the mod's main letdowns, amirite. Basically a reskinned SMG that shoots faster but is less accurate. Fun in close quarters combat because of how quickly you could dump rounds into the bad man, but as a whole felt unnecessary when the SMG exists. A swap would've been interesting.
The aliens were such a lazy design and plot choice, but then you realize Valve did the same thing with Half-Life 2. Just maybe a little more polished lmao.
Occasionally confusing level design that hampered forward progression, but overall good pacing and loads of engaging combat.
"Fun" is a great way to describe Sweet Half-Life. Another word I would choose is "sweet". Doesn't try to be something it's not and just focuses on creating a blast of a gaming experience for the player.

I like tabletop RPGs and playing DOOM. So, with this mod, I feel very well served. I love the new elements, the game has become completely new. It's an excellent option.
nice
New maps are just mostly already functioning maps with tons of more enemies just placed about. Any actual issues with the maps themselves have not been fixed.
Says there were many new code fixes and updates including saves working however does not list any changes and saves still seem broken.
Hopefully their programmers can iron out some of the bugs and level designers can sort out some of the shortcomings.
I like the fact that this mod is simple, it doesn't get in the way at all. Makes the game more fun. I don't miss menus. I love simplicity.
hhhhhhh
Best mod in goldSauce, best mod for the 2020's. Showcases all effects from the community in one mod.

Perfect
Underrated game

I appreciate the effort that goes into projects of this size, but the balancing is just impossible. Every faction except for vikings has ridiculous income penalties and it's essentially unplayable if you try to do anything except participating in the modders' nordicist escapist fantasy. The income penalties makes the creation of units or buildings impossible past the first turn. I'm talking just one default army built and every settlement having -1000+ income for no discernable reason. Not to mention that several important buildings are totally bugged and don't allow for new unit production, even if you decide to cheat yourself money.
Basically unplayable unless you want to LARP as vikangs.
The concept of this mod is a 10 but in execution it's a 6. Right now it's an RNG-heavy experience. How well you do will depend largely on whether you get some good gear/abilities early on, otherwise you'll be restarting over and over until RNG gods bless you.
Seems like the mod author wanted to marry the action of DOOM with the roguelike qualities and powers of Risk of Rain 1 & 2. However, unlike RoR, DOOM Infinite needs better pacing and overall balance. DI's difficulty spikes exponentially, with numerous enemies spawning right on top of you but unlike RoR, DI does not give you additional bonuses or abilities that accumulate and stack over time, instead you're limited to whatever weapons you acquire and some powers you can unlock but they're only available one at a time. Ultimately, every game starts to feel the same as the game swarms you with infinite enemies while your power curve flattens out as a result of diminishing rewards.
It's a cool mod that adds a breath of fresh air to DOOM but once the shine wears off it gets old real fast. Hopefully the mod author can tune these qualities and really make this mod shine.
Amazing! Among my favorite Doom3 mods!
Бля опять?! Что это за говнище?! Пиксельхатинг конченый. Карта этого мода тупо моддинг старт с минимальными изменениями.
Короче просто говно!
