A complete package of assets unique to the Machine for Pigs, with functionality as authentic as possible, minimal overhauls and quality of life improvements.
Available also on the Steam Workshop with 1.5 update features!
AMFP assets: Steamcommunity.com
Showcase demo: Steamcommunity.com
Let's break down what you can profit from this!
---------------------
What this mod DOES do
---------------------
- It allows PLAYERS to play mods requiring it, without missing assets and having unnecessary duplicates with the base game. YOU CAN ALSO PLAY A SHOWCASE DEMO!
- It allows MODDERS to make this pack required for their projects, while providing a complete, organized library to work with, and to save a lot of unnecessary space on their custom content.
- You can tweak TDD's base gameplay in your projects to feel and play more like the Machine for Pigs itself
---------------------
What this mod DOESN'T do
---------------------
- Provide any kind of playable content on its own, it's simply a dependency for other projects to use (like the showcase demo in the downloads section)
- Allow you to play the Machine for Pigs campaign with this. While you could make it work in theory, you still should get the base game for that, and I have no intention of making it myself.
---------------------
HOW TO USE THIS PACK
---------------------
- If you are a PLAYER simply DOWNLOAD! Showcase mod and other mods using it should provide instructions as well.
- If you are a MODDER, and working on an AMFP themed mod, feel free to unload all the content from
inside "amfp_assets" folder into your main folder, it will overwrite nothing!
- DO NOT pack any of these assets with your released mod!
(unless you're using only a few, but then be sure to include everything)
- Instead you can put it a requirement on both moddb and workshop uploads
- You can find extra FC mod features in the showcase demo for you to use.

Happy Holidays!
Non Omnis Moriar had special anniversaries this year. The mod itself was released 8 years ago, while the source game itself just turned 10. Feels weird just to list these.
To celebrate the occasion, I've been revisiting my AMFP content throughout the entire year, and it took a long process to get it to a point where I can call it released and done:
- Non Omnis Moriar reached 1.4 stage with two major updates regarding story and structure. Other than final bugfixes (if any) I can now call it final. Worry not, for old walkthroughs still apply most of the time!
- My AMFP asset pack released its first (and possibly final) major update (1.1) that brought its features to the Steam Workshop as well, alongside Full Conversion additions for both editions. It also features a demo version of Non Omnis to showcase the assets and the changed gameplay features in action, on TDD.
Get them both on Moddb or Steam!
Happy (late) holidays, and have a good AMFP celebration, as the New Year await us!
A showcase for my AMFP asset pack dependency. A demo version of my Machine for Pigs project, Non Omnis Moriar, with almost identical gameplay with minor...
CANNOT BE PLAYED ON ITS OWN!!! Everything from AMFP that was unique to that game, now can be put as a requirement for other mods to play, and can be browsed...
HI! I have a question.. I didn't quite understand how to install the pack for players, since I read on the text file that i can
Hi! I currently do not know of any mods that use this pack. With the steam workshop updates, and my own projects coming out, I expect there will be a few soon. When that happens, I'll make very detailed instructions :D
this error appears:
"could not load main init file: your/mod/config/main_init.cfg
How can I do?
Copied from the description:
---- NOTE
- THE PACKAGE CANNOT BE PLAYED ON ITS OWN!
Alas, the mod is meant to serve as a basis for future mods, it cannot be played right now, it's meant for modders for the time being :)
ok. I love your mods, waiting for the next one...
thanks :D i just overhauled and finished this one, in case you missed Moddb.com
thanks! i've just dowloaded The First Sin, Prologue. Sounds intriguing!
I think there's already another way of getting AMFP assets.
Sure, you can grab them from the game. What this does differently:
- Sorts out messed up assets
- Avoids overlaps with TDD, no overwritten sounds, textures
- Can be browsed separately in the editor
- Mods can include it as a requirement, so no need to include 2+ gb of assets in every mod which wants to build upon AMFP, just ask the player to download it here.
- As a player, you simply download this and easily install it, for a mod that requires it. It will have no conflict with any other mod in itself.
I myself plan to use this for multiple projects, so worst case I can build upon it myself, but I thought it'd be nice to release this to the public so others can have a go at it.
Hope this clears it up a little bit more :D
I guess that's true. (Since I had to learn the hard way to import the AFMP Assets)
Yep, it's better to have one clean pack for everyone, this way we can avoid conflicts between props imported from AMFP by different modders.
It's good it's finally here.
Thanks, must have been some work to put together.
