Counter-Strike is a tactical first-person shooter video game which originated from a Half-Life modification and features real-world weapons.
Counter-Strike pits a team of counter-terrorists against a team of terrorists in a series of rounds. Each round is won by either completing the mission objective or eliminating the opposing force. The game has both individual and multiplayer options. Bots can be added into the game.
The online-multiplayer option is activated via Steam.
Other than similarities in basic gameplay, Counter-Strike is not in any way related to Half-Life. The original version was marketed as a commercial mod, but since then it has grown into a separate game in itself.

I have Half Life Anthology and Counter Strike Anthology on Steam.
I have lag problem for this game.
"cl_lw 0" fixes lag problem but it isn't legal in tournaments and matches
I know it is a client problem.I can play smoothly in singleplayer (with bots)
I tried rate commands,disabling firewall,disabling DEP etc. but they didn't fix problem
Also,I am using vsync.When I set fps to 100, it doesn't fix problem.So,I must play in 60fps because I am using 60hz screen.

It's a client side issue. You may have slow/internet issues so you should blame your ISP ;P
Yeah. cl_lw is a client command and it fixes only.So, it is a client issue.
I have lag problem on online servers and I have lag problem on lan server.
My friend creates a server and I connect to his server.I can't play smoothly on his server.
When I create server he can't play smoothly.
I don't have lag problems on other games(CS Source,CS GO,BF etc.)

You could try the non-steam Counter Strike 1.6 WaRzOnE.Just search it on google.
