Does this run on Linux? I downloaded it but can't find the file to run it. I only see Windows .exe files.
Yes, it runs on Linux. I did not include a Linux binary because this is int the alpha stage. Slamming a standard DarkPlaces Linux binary in the Zircon folder will work using adding the command line params --> ./darkplaces -game data -customgamenetworkfiltername Zircon -nohome -nocdaudio
I am hoping to release another alpha with massive new features in a few days to a week.
This is the Guest that was replying to you about your game running on Linux. I should have made an account sooner lol. I found out about this game from your post at the Xonotic Forum. If you can please PM me the details of how to get the DarkPlaces binary working that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I must not be doing something right with that darkplaces linux binary file. I don't quite get how to make the game run. Guess I'll wait for the alpha release
There will be Linux support. I have a lot of things I'm shuffling around to gear up for the next release.
Thank you for your interest in this project.
of corse, theres Quake AND quake
Yeah, I wish I knew how to fix that but it really wants to lower it case in the category, ha.
