Like any good corporation, The Company is always down for some aggressive expansion. However, when a drunken and desperate mad scientist came to their door and offered to sell them the secret to a brand new alien planet, they didn't believe what they were hearing. But he told fantastic tales of a world where the floor was alive and wriggled beneath your feet, with strange creatures both friendly and deadly, and most interestingly to the company: facilities full of alien scrap built by a recently extinct civilization. So they paid him his sum, and he teleported a few contractors to a fascinating new place: Ooblterra.
Now the company has managed to figure out Ooblterra's space-coordinates, and has found a facility with plenty of rare and tasty scrap. The fuel costs are large, and you should definitely come prepared!
Ooblterra is a fully fledged new moon with all the bells and whistles! New time of day songs, new ambience, and even some unique outside objects, akin to Lethal Company's rocks and pumpkins.
Ooblterra features a unique Fire Exit, made inaccessible by a body of purple, acidic water. Taking a dip means taking some damage; can you find a creative way to reach this alternate entrance?
The Oobl Laboratory is a brand new interior with 15 new tiles, including two "goal" tiles that have unique properties and effects. Tiles are colorful and densily populated with high value scrap; only curtailed by the unique enemies that roam the Oobl Lab's halls.
Here's a taste of just a few of the new enemy types Welcome to Ooblterra has on offer:
The Wanderer
The Wanderer is a passive creature found roaming the surface of Ooblterra during the day. Their only interest is exploration; but their corpses can be quite valuable to you, if you can live with the consequences of obtaining them.
Eye Security
Eye Security, mechanical sentinels roaming the halls of the Oobl Lab, trying to protect its scrap from thieves such as yourself. If you get caught out in one of its scans, death will likely follow, so take caution!
The Gallenarma
The Gallenarma is a ferocious beast that can be found strung up in different places around the lab... at least, until they wake up. Keep quiet when you hear their chained footsteps. You don't want to anger one.
Oobl Ghost
The species who used to run this place is actually still here... at least, in spirit. Charging past walls, able to find you inside or out, you'll need help to stop this relentless foe.
Welcome to Ooblterra also features Baby Lurkers, Enforcers, and Adult Wanderers... but you'll have to learn their secrets yourself!
New Traps
Welcome To Ooblterra features a suite of unique map hazards. Spike Traps that ask you to pay attention to the floor, and Baby Lurker Eggs turning your attention to the ceiling. Tesla Coils interfere with your equipment, while Bear Traps ensure you aren't even safe outside...
NEW SCRAP
The Oobl Lab features lots of unique scrap. Highly valuable and often two-handed, you'll want to grab as much as you can. Some, such as Sprint Totems and Totems of Undeath, even serve unique purposes.
Frankenstein Room
The Machine
Uncovering the secrets of the Frankenstein Room and Machine Room will make days on Ooblterra easier and more profitable. Of course, finding them is only half the battle...
Charged Batteries
Welcome to Ooblterra features Charged Batteries; a single one can be found somewhere on the map each time you land. Instead of taking it out, you'll find yourself on a journey to put it back in...
Oh, yeah, and we also threw in some custom suits and a poster. Have fun!

Balance Changes
-Several lights in the Laboratory will now be turned off and can only be turned back on via powering the Machine
-Bear Traps now make a sound when closing
-Bear Traps can now be hit with a shovel to make them retract without stepping on them
-Bear Traps spawn in faster
-Raised Ooblterra Route Price from 1200 --> 1700 for the sake of balance
-Baby Lurkers are now better at hitting the player
-Gallenarma now counterattack much faster, and are thus harder to kill with Shovels/56 Shovels
-Reduced maximum number of Baby Lurker Eggs
-One-handed scrap should now be significantly more common than Two-handed scrap
-Outside monsters spawn in a bit faster
-The fog now takes a bit more time to become fully blinding
-Charged Batteries are now worth 200 credits (down from 800)
Bug Fixes
-Fixed a bug where Frankenstein Rooms would not allow any player to pull the lever except the one who placed the body on the bed
-Fixed a bug where Frankenstein Rooms would spawn the WTOMimic outside when the revive is failed
-Scrap spawns are now more consistent and it should be impossible for it to spawn out-of-bounds
-Fixed an issue with LLL config for the Oobl Laboratory where the manual planet name would not work
-The Oobl Lab now has vanilla hazard spawns configured in case players want to use it on a moon with vanilla hazards (vanilla hazards should not show up on Ooblterra)
-Fixed visual bug where Item Dropship would drop its equipment in midair
Removed
-The Autopilot Ship no longer lands on a platform and instead lands directly on the ground. This allows several of the outside enemy types to get inside your ship :)
Known Issues
-Players may still be able to walk out-of-bounds of the moon
-Enemy bestiary logs need to be accessed as one word (for example, babylurkeregg instead of Baby Lurker Egg)
-______ skipped because it does not allow read access is spammed in the log on landing (this will have no adverse effects on the game)
-Gallenarma and Baby Lurkers sometimes get stuck and will not chase players
-Enabling LLL's moon config for Ooblterra will cause the moon to spawn only Shovels instead of scrap for some reason.
(A workaround or fix for this is being investigated and will be included in the next version)
-Enemies can't chase you onto tables and desks (A fix for this will be included in the next version)
-Time of Day music will sometimes just not play (Currently being investigated)
Mod Incompatibilities
LethalPipeRemoval (will only cause issues if you enable poster removal)
WeatherTweaks (circumvented by using BetaWeatherTweaks and turning off "SunAnimatorPatch" in config)
ImmersiveScrap (works, but will override much of Ooblterra's scrap with its own)
This update along with future ones can be found on our Thunderstore page (linked below.) Please allow several minutes for Thunderstore/R2ModManager to update its list. In the next version, we plan to add a config for WTO that changes features such as editing the Map Hazard spawns, binding enemies/hazards/scrap to the interior of the moon, scaling scrap value based on route price, disabling suits, and more. We hope to get that one to you within the next week, so stay tuned.
