here is the porting directly from the nintendo switch version, some content had to be made compatible with the 2007-2008 build of the PC, some content had to be made from scratch since the switch version use different way to integrate sprite graphic in the game. Tools i used (nintendo switch rom extractor + unreal engine extractor + sir ninja RotP port and the base game as a reference to create from scratch the missing xml files)

Description

all classes start with 70 stat points, also the cost to raise 1 skill is always 1 stat point

I have a question about this minimod. Wouldn't starting a new character 40 points to distribute (4 stat points x 10 levels) be the correct equivalence to having a Lv 60 cap as in the expansions? or is this minimod meant to speed up playthroughs and more easily test builds?

you forget that each level grants you 4 level up points + 2 temple points, so it is 6 points per level. a level 60 character should have 60 more points compared to a level 50.

other that this, keep in mind that scoring a match 3 gives you 3 resources with 0 skill, 4 resources with 1 skill, 5 resources with 8 skill, 6 resources with 21 skill, 7 resources with 50 skill

having starting skills at 8+ and maybe even 21 skill can help the battle go faster, since resources are accumulated a bit faster from the beginning.

basically you collect 3-4-5-6 (0 7 14 21) resources at the beginning, instead of 3-4-4-4 (0 1 2 3)
