The full release of Entropy : Zero - Uprising's first episode!

Installation
IF YOU RUN INTO ANY ISSUES WHILE INSTALLING, CHECK THE TROUBLESHOOTING SECTION BELOW!
NOTE: If you are not using 7zip, you might run into Error 0x80004005 while extracting the file. You can get 7zip here.
- You will need to have Entropy : Zero installed.
- Download the .zip file from this site
- Extract the folder (using 7zip) to your Steam/Steamapps/Sourcemods folder and restart Steam. The mod will then appear in your library under Entropy : Zero - Uprising.
License
- You can freely showcase this mod anywhere. We would really appreciate credit in the form of a link to the ModDB page.
- Do not redistribute the mod itself. Only link back to the ModDB download page.
- You can use the soundtrack of the mod in your videos.
Known issues
- It is possible to get softlocked in a room in chapter 2 in which an ally is supposed to open a door for you. This only happens if a certain cop enters the room first and if another specific cop has died beforehand. If this occurs, fire ent_remove on the door OR reload the last save and try to keep your allies alive.
- There is a crash in chapter 3 which only happens once and only if the player has played through chapter 2 in the same session.
- Upon entering the train in chapter 3, the player can be removed from the game. Reloading the save and approaching the train from another angle should fix this. It might require multiple attempts to do so, however.
Troubleshooting
If your mod is not showing up in Steam, follow these steps:
1) Make sure the mod is installed in the correct folders. Here's how you can verify that:
Go to your Uprising folder and open the properties of gameinfo.txt. The path to gameinfo.txt should look something like this: ...\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\Uprising\gameinfo.txt
Make 100% sure that your path IS NOT something like ...\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\Uprising.1\Uprising\gameinfo.txt
IF this is your path, simply drag and drop the second Uprising folder into the sourcemods folder. The mod should now work.
2) Restart Steam properly. Pressing the X and reopening Steam does not count as restarting it. Go to the top left, press on Steam and then Exit. Then start Steam again.
3) Make sure the mod is not hidden in Steam. Search for Entropy : Zero - Uprising and look under the "HIDDEN" category
4) Be sure to have Entropy : Zero installed on Steam. Not Entropy : Zero 2 or Half-Life 2, it needs to be Entropy : Zero.
5) Make sure the mod is installed on the same drive as your main Steam installation. For example, if your Steam is installed in C:\, make sure Uprising is also located in C:\. It could also be required that Entropy : Zero is on that same installation, but this is currently not verified.

Go where? To the mall?
It's out!
SICK, Good freakin job, like seriously. Also are you hiring?
this is awesome
okay don't know why but mod won't show up on steam library. I've tried extracting it while steam is off and on and 2 different hard drives
you need Entropy: Zero (the first game)
Try Hidden games
same
it cant extract the zip
Use 7zip just to be sure
I have done everything the instructions have said to do even got 7-zip. Nothing has worked, so please help us here. Entropy Zero is a good series. jesus christ, the instructions are actually hella vague.
do you have entropy zero the first one installed becauese i had the second one installed thinking it was compatible
If you want help, you need to be more specific with your issue. "Nothing has worked" is not helpful.
There are several ways a mod installation can go wrong.
Make 100% sure that your path IS NOT ...\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\Uprising\Uprising\gameinfo.txt
4) Be sure to have Entropy : Zero installed. Not Entropy : Zero 2, it needs to be Entropy : Zero.
5) Make sure the mod is installed on the same drive as Entropy : Zero. I haven't verified this, but I vaguely recall issues with installing sourcemods on drives different from the base game drive. If your Entropy : Zero is installed in C:\, make sure Uprising is also located in C:\
There is no "gameinfo.txt" in the Uprising folder.
Current install path is D:\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\Uprising
(D drive is my main Steam installation.)
Restarting Steam does nothing.
If there's no Gameinfo, the mod will not work. Reinstall again and make sure that Gameinfo is in steamapps\sourcemods\Uprising.
Again, the mod contents need to be in that very folder, not something like Uprising/Uprising or Uprising/Uprising.1

thank you so much this helped a lot
Anytime i try to put it in sourcemods gameinfo and a few other files cant copy over
When I do manage to extract the zip using 7 zip it won't be added to my library. And if I don't use 7 zip I can't extract it at all
i did everytihng but didnt worked
did you try installing Entropy : Zero (one)
The files don't want to extract into the sourcemods file.
you can use 7zip to fix that. But even after getting the files to extract into sourcemods the game didnt add to the library for me
I'm sorry. What you said worked for me and it did appear in my library. I don't know why it wouldn't work for you.
Tried installing it, extracted to sourcemods, didn't work... Any fix for this? Thx

Hello.
1) I installed it, the game started, but when the rebels shoot in my direction and hit either me or the surrounding objects, as well as when I hit with a baton or turn on a flashlight - for some reason, the picture always turns into a pink and black chessboard. How to fix it?
2) Should subtitles in Russian be expected?
if multicore rendering is off try turning it on just an idea idk
I have it already turned on.
Do you install or have Half-life 2 episode 2?
Of course.
i have the same proble, how can correct it?
I don't know how yet.

The mod doesn't even show up on my Steam account.
Once the game is in your sourcemods folder, you need to log out and log back in or you need to hard restart steam (Task Manager or the bottom right hand side's arrows)
For those of you having trouble with extraction, this is what I did: Right click on the zip, having 7zip installed, right click Uprising.zip and select 7Zip -> Extract./... and point it directly to your sourcemods folder, using drag and drop in ANY fashion will cause the unspecified error. I hope this helps some of you. Time to boot the hype!
What if i don't have a sourcemods folder?
Just create it.
It doesn't matter it still doesn't appear in the Steam library
