- added the option to select a nation in the scenario. Now you can try out all nations, not just USSR

- for random games, nations were already selectable anyway. Just choose your nation under Civ - special powers (but consider in this mod certain units and buldings can only access certain terrain. Details in the description of the mod)

- for multiplayer games, you should be able to make your own scenarios. Make sure that human players can select more than just player 1 (on 2nd tab of player section, untick "CPU only")

- now four types of houses are walls:
-- renaissance
-- imperial
-- industrial
-- atomic

so that your units can take cover behind them, and assault troops (half the range, twice the firing rate) have a big advantage over regulars in cities

The mod not work, there is a subfolder named data.ssa.decompressed in db folder of your mod.
IT's impossible to a play a random game.
I followed all the instruction in the "important" file.
Please help, your mod is wonderful

Thanks, happy you're trying it out.

Hmm that's curious. Random games used to crash because I renamed citizens, female citizens and capitols, but that's solved now.

The folder data.sst.decompressed can be deleted or it can just be left there, it doesn't do anything. It's simply the original datas before I started editing.

Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately I didn't solve the problem. When I start a casual game or an editor and select a building like the barracks, the outline remains red and it is impossible to build. I'm very sorry because your mod is the best I like it very much. Maybe there is some problem in the installation files.

Oh but if it's just the building, then it's not a problem, it's the terrain restrictions. I have all written it in the description. You can only build most buildings on urban terrain. Try to paint some Stony terrain in the editor and then you can place those buildings :-D

I made it this way for more realism.

1. In my scenario there is a road where you can drive trucks, and because of the terrain restrictions, the trucks will follow the road.

2. You can only build most buildings on urban terrain in order to limit how many and where people can build sth. So they can't just build thousands of towers in enemy territory, but have to rely on the engineers with their sandbags and landmines (these are not restricted).

3. Docks and Naval yards can only be built in deep water, to simulate the importance of ports. And the only ship that can access shallow water and land on beaches is the landing craft. But it has limited capacity and cannot carry big tanks and artillery. For that you will have to capture ports where the big freighters can dock.

So in my scenario there shouldn't be any problem.
And for random games I'm working on special maps, that people will be able to download.

So is there any other technical problem with the download apart from this? :-D
And let me know what you think about the terrain restrictions after trying the scenario (it's specifically made for them)
