A must have quality improvements mod. I don't use Dwemn 3 or FhDoom ports. I just use a retail copy executable patched to 1.3.1 with Enhanced Edition ontop of it. Works like a charm on Windows 10. Love the custom splash screens, main menu logo, custom cursor & subtle improvements of the user interface & PDA User Interface. The subtle things this mod does further add to the overall Doom 3 experience. And some of the major improvements that come with EE (like 1920x1080 full aspect ratio widescreen support & hi-rez images on loading screens between chapters, just to highlight a few) add to the game, without taking anything away.
In my opinion, Enhanced Edition is the de-facto standard with which one should play Doom 3.
Also works great (and has no issues) when being used with D3HDP Essential HD Pack. I have used many mods over the years in conjunction with EE. I have yet to have any issues.

Just great, fixed a lot of issues of the original game associated with the modern computer builds.
It's basically a "Starter Pack", with so many QOL that you don't know if it will end one day, so absolutely worth it if this is your first time playing Doom 3 and you're looking for small mods.
A perfect way to experience DOOM 3 in a "enhanced vanilla" way.
A more aggresive cyberdemon, just as how it was supposed to be
