Really dissapointing. It needs DSFix and you need to configure it. What's the point to just upload it here if it's not plug'n'play? No instructions, no description. At least nexus tells what you need to make it work.
You are right. No instructions, no documents, how are we even supposed to know how this works? It might even be the most spectacular mod / overhaul ever created, but nobody has any idea as to how to make it work!
It's not. There are strong stutters. I've started to make my overhaul with dsfix and stutter free. It seems author even didn't test it. Just got a pile of popular mods. And this pile is not optimized. Well, it's like with COP. Another mod to make.
The mod was tested for hours and hours, the author experienced slight stutter but it's mostly to do with how dsfix loads textures and not something that the author could fix. If you look at the sizes he did his best go compress the mod so that dsfix would stutter less that still didn't get rid of it.
Once you have dsfix, install the mod through nexus manager and it should open up a scripted installer.
I've started to reassemble this compilation of mods by myself and there is no stutters till now.
Merger is good person to make this pack, but I just have another point of view of making things. If there is big performance hit - better throw out some mods. That's just my opinion. I was into this mod as DS fan, but there was too strong stutters at Firelink Shrine. It've made me real sad about this overhaul.
I installed it and it looks amazing, pretty different to the common mods, I recommend it, looks good
Unzip the file and drag and drop the contents of the folders of choice into the dsfix texture_override folder located in Game Library/Data/Dsfix/Texture_override
