STRONG RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Enable "Load textures on demand" in game's Configure menu. When you start MBWB window pops where you normally get to choose mod. In this window you'll find "Configure".
- Disable HDR (in Video Options). Mod has its own solution. Disable it before starting to play, if you do it afterwards it may create some unwanted visual effects, in that case just quit WB and relaunch it
- Set the same "Battle size" in PBOD options (accessible through Camp menu on Campaign Map) as you've set in Main options (or file itself for experienced users only).
- Read Game Concepts - accessible through Campaign Map / Notes - most importantly study a new recruitment system
- MAC users - if struggling with ingame text readability, go to mod's Textures folder and delete a file called font.dds
- Turn OFF Cheat Mode - Mod is very resource hungry. If you have it ON, use it on pause, don't run more than few in game hours.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- For interesting Hunting experience Combat AI has to be put on at least Good.
- Tournament mod default preset is to match faction culture. So armors, helmets, weapon choices, horses - are first faction and then arena specific (because horses are on larger fields, archers require natural shields et) It is recommended that you leave it this way.
- You may also consider getting something called 4GB patch, google for it and decide yourself
- Some UI parts are only available in English so for the best experience play on English
- MUSIC turn it ON. Best way to adjust right volume is to move it up until you are able to hear winds blowing while wandering on the Campaign Map. See sound tuning guide below.
Detailed Mod sound tuning guide
To set up the sound properly first turn music off, then go in any arena and practice. Tune main sound bar until loudness is satisfactory to your ear. Then go on the Campaign map and turn a music ON. If any music track is playing wait till it stops or it becomes ambient sound. Then travel on the campaign map and turn up only a music bar until you can clearly hear winds.

I don't know if you can change this or not, but figured I'd mention it. After quickly joining a lord's army, notice that exhaustion messages still pop up and you can 'set camp' while travelling around with the army. If you get into a battle while technically in camp, the enemy will start at your camp and and pretty much immediately thrash it. Leaving you suffering the penalty for an overrun camp.
Kind of funny edge case.

You are right,but you are not supposed to take camp while enlisted because you are not in the command, your Lord is. I'll maybe have to disable the option availability while enlisted.

Hey I was wondering if you could add an option to disable the extra step that you have to take to recruit basic units. Besides that I've found this mod to be one of if not the best Native Enhancing mod.
Overall Mod experience is based on modified recruiting. It is interlinked and interdependable with lot of other mod great features. I will not say that it is realistic but its far more realistic than Native solution which has always bothered me.
Just imagine yourself riding in some remote village in medieval times and as complete stranger asking for volunteers that will leave their homes and come to follow you. Everything else is self-explanatory. So either village Lord loves you, either villagers love you cause you helped them a lot, either Realm sings song about you and you are famous or you have some ugly bad tempered guys riding with you. Works the same with every opposite case. If you are a murderer and/or plunderer, if you raze villages, you'll get no volunteers but you will enforce more conscripts etc.

I found a bug with a mission. Specifically escort a nobleman's daughter to a city.
If you are married to the noble's daughter, it does not give you the option to finish the mission, there is no dialogue option to finish it correctly and there is no possibility of closing the dialogue.
I don't understand, are you saving your spouse?
I've searched for info and it's a vanilla bug, I don't know if you can fix it.
"Escort lady to town: A lord will ask you to take one of his ladies to another town. This lady will join your party, and you are to escort her to the destination. Upon arrival, she will give you a reward. Note: There is a bug in Warband version 1.157 (probably in earlier ones too) which prohibits you from escorting your wife to a town. When you reach the town, instead of the usual "thank you" dialog, you will be presented with the options that appear when you normally talk to your wife. If you choose to leave, the dialog will always reappear, creating a loop which can't be avoided (except if you decide to close and re-open the game). "

I got a runtime error trying to load it up. Seems to be on the Loading Setting Data.

I might've missed something some where? But how do you recruit troops from villages? All i have is Forced Recruitment options, even if i meet the village elder.

In my case it happened because when I started the game the HDR is still on an then I turned it off and the sky looked like that. Then I restarted the game and the sky is fixed, hope it helps.

Mod seems great and the creator's very helpful to players that come up with bugs. Most of the famous mods out there have creators like "you'll play my way, eat **** and die", however this guy is looking very kind and helpful. Good work mate.

Why I can't see this mod in my mount and blade launcher ? I mean he is in modules with others mods .
It depends how you unpacked it. If you unpacked it in folder named as archive than you'll find another folder named BannerPage inside that folder. Folder BannersPage is the one that needs to be in yours game's Modules folder.

I'm not sure if I did something wrong, or if it's a bug. When in a tournament certain things stopped spawning in, and it said it was an error. Such as me selecting sword and shield, getting neither. Horses wouldn't spawn as well, and my helmet didn't load in. It may be something on my side
No its not a bug.
Two settings are in clash, your personal pref and tournament weapon option set in that particular tournament arena in Tournament design.
If you don't know what you are doing it is best to leave tournaments as they are. Just make sure to move difficulty bar to meat your expectations and weapon's choice to always be randomized.
If you don't like the outcome you can disable it completely and revert to Native Tournament just by one click.
i dont mind buildying only swadian knights, i always did that... Just remove the branches, they destroy the faction completely

I see your point, getting out on one of the Lords can be cool sometimes. Medieval times were cruel indeed.As you have seen one of the main BP's goals is immersion so logically it somehow expected to be implemented. I agree.
Though before immersion comes balance we cannot raise immersion only to endanger balance, because we would not kill the Lord but we would murder world and gameplay.
Furthermore, there is even a thing above balance and that is functionality. So we would not kill a lord or gameplay we would kill the game.

It does and you are right, but what about a player permadeath everytime we are defeated? Like a 20% chance of dying everytime you fall in battle? I don't know how hard could it be to implement, I've seen only one mod with this fonctionality it was called "La Guerre de Cent Ans", an old mod.

I wouldn't mind that but believe it or not there are lot of people that already feel very challenged with BannerPage. You can set yourself such rules and religiously follow them. Check Ironman challenge by ReformistTM on YT.
Yes, that's true, but Reformist's Ironman challenge using Freelancer is a bit of a suicide, but I can use a random number generator everytime I fall, setting 20% my death, 80% I survive. I'm not telling the mod is not challenging, it is, but I wanted to know if it was actually possible to add such a feature in this great mod. I will use that. Thank you!
