A.R.E.A. is a standalone project based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy. The project affects all aspects of the game with no exceptions, improving their quality and diversity. The main goal was to create a more realistic Exclusion Zone, where each trip will be a unique and rough experience.

I don't think that food immediately becomes radioactive while exposed is quite realistic for the atmosphere. Of course game stands in a fantasy world, but isn't this mod suppose to be otherwise as realistic as it can be? |

Could you explain a little about ' A-Life Radius ' option.? How it works & why you mentioned that smaller values are better for weaker PCs.Which are the 'problematic moments' you were referring.? I'm asking so we can have an idea too. |

Is there a way to actually make sense of the repair mechanics? Its unintuitive and i dont understand how to repair anything. I managed to get how to replace a barrel. But how do you replace the spring or trigger? How do u use the Small-caliber repair kit? Even if i had a gun with over 35% condition and caliber 5.45 when i right clicked on the small caliber kit ( the red one) nothing appeared in the box. There is no guide or anything about repairs. |

After several saves I can't save no more... try to shut down the PSI-emitter in Yantar after receiving the helmet from Sakhorov. As I enter the complex downstairs I saved again and entered the elevatorroom (where the snork is waiting) to go down these yellow ladders (the last one you have to jump down) after I shot a few snorks I get killed by the the Bloodsucker and when I tried to load my last save I started again just before I entered the complex downstairs. Not where I saved (at the elevatorroom) I don't use quicksaves. So it is impossible to save more after some, say 20 saves ?? |

No, I don't. But I just heard that saving in a Danger Zone Area is not possible. I hoped that there is/was a way to changed some file in the game to extend the amount of saves. Thx for your answer. |

any tips for bloodsuckers? they seem impossible to spot before they hit you, i've played dead air and even there i don't think they're this bad the stamina system also doesn't make much sense, at least with athlete, it doesn't pay off to walk, you run and then wait before running again, which isn't realistically the best way to move long distances, stamina drain on walking should be lower and higher on running other than that, love the mod, really well made and fun |

Issues that made me roll back to 1.1619: - As i've already mentioned the new annoying auto crouch-stand mode with stashes and characters backpack. - The new volume limit on character seems too bad compared to the previous. I mean i reached the limit so many times and because i picked up a pistol or similar small items they always made me dropping all the stuff of my inventory (+ backpack + the outfit i was wearing) to a point that i believe it's not bearable (for me). If those two issues remained unchanged 1.1628 would be hell of an update. Oh well... |

Dude follow these steps so u can find him: Download AREA revisions addon: Moddb.com. Find a folder named ''Mark on the Swamp Doctor'' & copy it's content to your AREA's gamedata folder. Then load your autosave in Swamps and while in game hit the F7 button and then open your PDA. Zoom in a little while on PDA so you can find his current location. (I say this because if you zoom out completely his dot on map isn't visible. That's all. |

I would like to know from the dev team if the new open-close crouch mode with stashes and backpacks is going to be restored on the upcoming update. Also, would love to see when reaching the inventory volume, character should drop the last thing he picked up and not all the gear (or almost all of it). It would be cool when the red icon of the volume appears, if character holds nothing on his hands make it somehow possible to prevent items from falling down. This way we could change a high volume armor with the one we already wear without a freakin drop. Same good way as in 1.1619 |
