Greetings, my name is Lex Wills, a game/film animation student at AIE Sydney. Ever since first hearing this truly amazing song, I have desperately wanted to use it as the background for one of my animations. The chance finally arose at the end of my first year, where I was able to use the first two minutes of this song as the background music for our end-of-year final work - a flythrough of a Unity level, linked here: Youtube.com

The song is credited to you both through YouTube and in the in-video credits. If the text of the attribution is in any way incorrect, please let me know and I will update it immediately. This is also a not-for-profit student assignment, but if you would rather I remove your music form the video please let me know and I will also do so immediately.

Now that's done, I just wanted to say again that this is an AMAZING song, breathtakingly epic and staggeringly well done, and for our class presentation of our level your music made everything so SO much better. Thank - you.

Ah, awesome. Thanks heaps for letting me know. I will investigate further the very moment it isn't 2am :S

Which, after spending the day delving into Slenderman mythos, is going to make for an interesting night.

Thanks heaps. One thing I always loved about my favorite Slenderman art was the fact that it made him out to be more than a guy in a suit. E.g. - the suit - in Marble Hornets it *looks* like a suit, until you notice that the hands, or rather the arms, morph into long black blade-claws. But obviously he's not wearing a suit with claw-mittens, so the claws, and the suit, are part of him. Wait - the suit is part of him? So that means its an illusion, or at least not really a suit but part of his very being, displayed to make it look like a suit? Why, to blend in, to confuse you, why? Is the not-suit real? Are you really seeing what's there, are you really seeing him at all? AAAAAHHH!

And just like that, adding impossible details which you *only* truly see on closer inspection, when you start to realize he absolutely could not be human - *that* is what makes him truly scary to me. The more you look, the more you wish you hadn't.

Thank you sincerely and I apologize for posting in the wrong place.

Have posted on the forum - in the 'Introduce Yourself' section as, sadly, the only reference I can find of "hiring" is that it closed in July. I may well have missed out there, but either way I will join the growing horde of fans avidly awaiting the release of this amazing looking mod.

I would like to offer my services as a modeller and texture artist.

So first, here's a recent example of my work:
Lh5.googleusercontent.com

As it happens, I am currently making a model of Slender / Slendy / Mr. Slender / whatever his name is. The reason being that I played Slender, absolutely loved the game, its pacing, use of music and sound, game mechanics, everything was done so amazingly well and cleverly so as to scare the living hell out of you. Except for the character model of Slendy.

To me personally, what makes Slendy such a terrifying character is the fundamental wrongness of his profile - he is a human profile, that at first glance looks like a man in a suit, until you realize he's too tall to be a man, too thin, too featureless, too horribly inhuman. The more you look, the more you see it's not a person, but something else entirely. And he's looking right at you. So I started working on my own model to, humbly, offer to the creators of Slender.

Here is what I have so far - though I emphasise this is a first draft of an idea, untextured and obviously incomplete (given it stops at the end of the spine) nothing more, submitted here for your opinion.
Lh3.googleusercontent.com

Everything is subject to complete alteration - I would love to hear what others find terrifying about Slendy as an image, and how to incoporate it to make for a truly terrifying model. The final model I'm working towards will be textured, rigged, bumped, speced, dolled up ready for a night on the town that bartenders will never forget, etc etc. My goal is for a low poly model (with the option of upping the poly count instantly) with proper edge flow for animation if required - not that Slendy is known for ever moving.

Edit: Oh yes, also, I can be contacted at lexdwills@gmail.com

Ty - got the Aperture Science logo online and the screen from a screenshot of the original image - not very high resolution, but worked for the render. Currently figuring out how in Cthulhu to get it into the game - needs to be a .mdl file. Have a converter but it does... strange things to the model. Will take some screwing around to get it to play nice.

Done, what's next:
Lh4.googleusercontent.com
(Left = low-poly model, Middle = extra rounding for smoother edges, Right = a few extra random details for effect. All glow effects added using AfterEffects - not sure how they'd be created in-game, would need a little more research. These are just prototypes atm, all subject to change - your thoughts?).

I'd also like to put myself forward as a voice-actor, if you'd like someone with a slightly British accent that is. Should probably make a demo-reel to link to at some point. Anyway, thanks to the joys of diaphragm control can achieve a range from snobby intellectual to demonic hell-spawn - but more importantly, I'm currently bored stupid and looking for something more creative to do.
