Here is the README file for installing Soviet Assault mod

Can't wait to try it out.
oh snap...i think you should make the mod not to replace vBF2,just to add it.
Unfortunatly, taking into account my experience in installing mods, just adding a mod will most likely not work, even if I do it on my PC. So it looks like for the momoent the only way is this.
so wheres the download?
Wait! Its coming!
Just renaming the mod folder from 'bf2' to 'sa' or so should fix any issues.
How did you build your mod? You seem to have added on to the standard BF2 files, which is exactly the wrong thing to do. You should of made a new mod with the editor. That would of mounted the BF2 archives correctly, and then you could add on. In the client and serverarchives.con files make it so the code with the soviet assault .zips are above the code line with the vBF2.zips. If you have a modified .tweak file or whatever in the SovietAssault.zip archives, then it will read that instead of the one in the vBF2.zip archives. This is how stand-alone mods are supposed to be packaged and work, and it is how almost all are set up. Your way is unnessasary and a nuisance.
I'm not trying to be rude or troll, I'm just trying to help you make your mod better. Thanks.
