- clean versions.
* Mastered Version 2 (DOOM) // (Not yet Included)
- Similar Mastering Chains were used for the "Doom ADLIB Audio Project"
[Other Files]
* There are SC-55 & SC-D70 files online, they are flac'd and have no separate channel recordings.
* I have included these for convenience but where possible try to download direct from authors site.
[Conclusion]
* Significant improvement after applying the "fixes***"
* ... probably not perfect due to too many uncontrollable variables, also windows 10 is crap.
[Fixes]
** cleaning the PCB, upgrading components etc, using the power supply, standard noise gate around -50 to -71+ for the removal of signal processing, mastering channels individually ~ etc etc...
* most channels fit neatly within the following db ranges; -28db when a drum set, -44db for higher pitch stuff, -34db for most other stuff - plenty of headroom.
* where channels had separately timed instruments (no overlaps) , they were merged ~ to save space.
* If you are good with electronics and have the bucks, new DACs, New USB, Digital Audio Output Mod and Power supply replacement should be your main focus.
[Track Info]
Track names might be a bit confusing. They are based on the names of the midi/mus files and where they are from, which may or may not be the final naming structure.
- M_ = mac
- named files = from BPrince Site/ DLs
- E#M# = the midi / mus from doom wads
* Since the midi files small they are included as source/ reference
