Doom Reborn is a total conversion of the original Doom Series. Our goal is to recreate the original Doom & Doom 2 in the idTech4 engine with new textures and new models of the original weapons and monsters with the maps redone and retextured. We also want to bring back the orignal doom music along with the sounds remade in a higher quality. Doom Reborn is and always will be a non profit project. Sorry about the poor video quality, I didn't know ModDB has a 512MB video restriction, So instead of just converting the video after recording like intended I had to heavily degrade the quality to decrease the file size from 1.12GB to 471MB which is as close to 512MB as I could get it, I will do another video later of episode 1 using original Doom Reborn Pre Beta Version 1.6 which should hopefully be better quality now that I know of the file size limit
Notes about Dafama2k7's mod patch (When Using The Saves Patch):
End level switches don't work
Large Health Packs don't work unless under 25health
Small Health Packs don't work unless under 20health
Small&Large Health Packs only restore health to 25health
Health Vials don't work at all,
These problems are not present in Pre Beta Version 1.6

Heya, After seeing your message this morning I left it till I got home from work to test, Yeah if you use Brents .exe and .dll (Default 1 I provided with 1.6) Everything works fine, Health Vials, Exit switches, Stats screen with music :D. But if you use Jonny's .exe and .dll Like I did you'll have all the problems I had lol
I wanted saves encase I needed them, I was lucky I didn't. But I made things a whole lot harder for myself with pistols starts etc lol
Aw well Practice I suppose.
But it is a curious problem I will have to look further into.
Also Andrew(Dr_Penguin) is doing a new video now with everything working correctly, I'll share it when it's up :D

Well at the moment, Monsters are really a reskin of the Doom 3 models, Weapons are still Doom 3's as well, if they where truly replaced with new models made from scratch it'd be ok,
If id software didn't care we'd be ok but I think that really depends on what Zenimax would say these days.

Music is extremely loud, and adjusting music volume does nothing. I do believe this project will end up being something nice. I actually want to help out, too. I remastered all of the sounds from Doom and Doom 2 and decided to port them over to this remake. If you want the file, please tell me.
