The atmosphere of some of the maps is outstanding. It's on a par with Death Wish and an absolute must play for any Blood fans.

Cool mod, i recommend it!
Looks promising thus far. All the maps included work if you follow the instructions given in the readme.
Definitely would be interested in seeing the full base campaign playable in coop.
Small nitpick is that it could work same as the base coop missions from Yuri. Having to set up your enemy and all the other settings isn't ideal.

Amazing job, at the moment that I write this review I haven't encountered things that may ruin my game such as bugs or glitches.
Combat system is good and I fastly adapted to it, warfare is great addition to balance between action and horror factors, also gives you a break after going thru the darkest places inside the Zone.
Sylky Edition is the best standalone mod and has nothing to envy to Anomaly and Gamma. Play it as soon as possible, the inmersion in this game is top tier that most AAA games doesn't have nowadays.

As a first time DoW player, and more than 30 years in RTS and strategy games of all type, i see this to change the great basic mechanics in a Starcraft(1 or 2, are the same gameplay) wanna-like be, making units and mouse clicks spamming play is not good at all! also i encouter a game breaking bug in a map during campaing in the first hour.

hey, i love your mod!! i use to play it a lot in the past.
I just download it again, and i was very exited to play as persia.
But i have some problems now:
1) i dont know if it is the idea, but persians dont have muskeeters, the persian muskeeters only could be recruited in a minor regional capital whit barracs, but it cant be recruited on the last stage of the same bulding and city type.
2) HERE IS THE REAL ISSUE, each time turn passes at least one of my units become another unit. If i have an army whit 10 militias after the turn passes that same army have 9 militias and a riskers of souls unit, after another turn, one militia less and another random unit to that army.
Do you have any idea of how can i fix this problems, at least the second one, the first one i can attribute to lore, due to the persian military history on XVIII century.
Never the less i gave an solid 8 to the mod, its an awsome and huge work to do.
Wish there was more!

Reviewed this multiple times in DM and in the server, but to sum it up quickly:
- the best gameplay on overdose I have seen throughout the years
- improved lackluster weapons from the arsenal
- mostly good secrets and creative easter eggs
- you made my most hated levels my favourite ones (Riot, Air Combat)
- some questionable difficulty (CH1 vs the others) and music choices, but most are minor and subjective to each person
- just a fun time to be had overall, with good arena additions in certain sections, and backtracking option
- no eye burning effects, true to the original creation while bringing improvements
it could still use some technical improvements in the future but great job overall!
