⚠️ Warning ⚠️
Using this pack with the weapon DLC may cause crashes or
severe stuttering (even with a good PC). Feel free to post
whether or not you experience crashing if you are running under these
conditions. Thank you.
Installation:
(If you wish, make a backup of your gamedata\meshes\actors directory ( if you have one) so you can revert any changes in case you are unsatisfied or in the unlikely event of experiencing a fatal unexplained crash)
1. Extract or Drag and drop the Gamedata folder into your Lost Alpha root directory
2. Overwrite if asked to (most likely will not)
3. Enjoy
.No New Game Required.
3a. If you are installing the "Ringelfinch bandit player model" (pictured below) from the Extras folder, just drag and drop or extract the gamedata folder from the Ringelfinch folder into
your Lost Alpha root directory after you finish installing the main pack. Overwrite the old file "stalker_bandit.ogf" when prompted.
Uninstall: (assuming you don't have other actor\meshes before installing)
1. Navigate to the gamedata\meshes\actors folder and delete everything except for the Trader folder if you have it.
2. Go to your gamedata\textures\act directory and remove any folders with the name "new" including the "dmg" folder.

99% of the work was already done by Ninja_Nub[NOR], a Huge thank you to him for his hard
work and dedication, because without it, this would not be possible.
A very special shout out to the Dezowave team for giving us the game we always wanted.
Thank you to the Stalkers on Facepunch, and ModDB.
Thanks to Alundaio (for his detailed guides) and to the GSC forums for
all of the help and for the years of company.
And a final thanks to GSC for letting us use and abuse their old engine.
Bugs:
.Some facial hair is a little interesting
.When viewing your model in 3rd person, you can often see your flashlight bobbing up and down on your head, as far as I know this has always happened in Lost Alpha
.Most of the animations from vanilla don't fit these models, so you may see clipping sometimes
.Sometimes the models can glitch a little bit, it's hard to tell unless you look really hard
.Changing the Scientists in Concrete Factory resulted in a later CTD in Countryside lab,
which is why they are left as vanilla models
.If you run into any other bugs or experience crashing related to this mod, post them in the comments
below or send them directly to me on ModDB @stooe
Notes:
.!!These have not been tested with the extended pack!!
but are now confirmed to be compatible.
.In theory this pack Could be compatible with the new NPC's from the extended pack, though I can't confirm.
.Note that if you are using the extended pack, I cannot promise that the new Player models will work either, seeing as there was a helmet system like in CoP that was incorporated into the extended pack.
.This addon could decrease your computers performance if your machine isn't up to date, as the meshes and textures are heavier than their vanilla counterparts.
.When changing a few story characters and certain factions, I tried to be lore accurate. For example, Fang can be found wearing very heavy armor, and the Monolith share some equipment with the Military.
.It is my intention to come back to these and rework the Monolith textures to portray bullet wounds and other injuries. Also, to give the Monolith back their original Urban camo as an option for those who don't like the Military's Ttsko camo on them.
.I created some of the textures myself, like the Monolith Ttsko, so they may not be as pretty or perfect as the originals that came from Ninja_Nub[NOR]
.All of these meshes should work in normal Shadow of Chernobyl (I have not tested, but
it would only require some simple renaming of the meshes and assuring all the textures are in
the correct spot as well as making sure their User data matches, Do this at your own risk)
.the Sin faction was not replaced
.the Installation notes on here are more grammatically pleasing than the notes in the .rar, this is because of hindsight.
.I like long walks on the beach, thanks for reading this far.
Enjoy guys, I need a vacation.
ps, you can also find the tutorial on GSC forums, posting it now.

Dear authour can u make another mod? i mean can u make adaptation of Moddb.com for SGN 2.2(sigerous mod 2.2)?
Wow, it looks so cool, it must take lot of work.
... and no "New game" required.
I use these in Call of Misery Last Day. I think they look really cool and fresh. Worth checking out!
These all are included or there are any extra addon for that on Last Day?
Download them from here Moddb.com
It doesn't replace every NPC model yet, so I suggest looking around the CoC's Addon's Page if you want to replace everything.
There was also a model and texture replacer inside the Last Day Addon Pack, but it seems like it just got removed (probably because it was kind of outdated.)
Damn I love those Duty Models....
Very good,my game inclued Extended Pack, but I will try to install this, wish it will not have problem.
Please tell us how it goes :)
Hi stooe,
Well done with the pack, very nice. Just downloaded it. I'm going to test it with the extended pack so fingers crosssed and i hope it works with it!
Cheers
Let me know if it works 🍻
Hi stooe,
Well, just installed the extended pack [weapon pack + advanced gameplay only] and your HD pack. Started a new game to see if all was working and low and behold, no crash to desktop, get in! Mind you, this was just very quick load up and walk about the cordon. The stalkers in this HD pack look so good it really makes a diffence to the game. Well done stooe for this pack and making me a happy stalker.
Cheers
That's great news, if anything happens to come up during your playthrough let me know and I'll fix it (y)
Running with the extended pack and haven't yet had any issues.
wtf i cant even get past the intro animations. i just uninstalled and reinstaled everything except i installed the extended mod first and it still doesnt work. ****
Running with extended and am not having any issues so far, although I've only tested Cordon and Garbage thus far. I did remove the new_npc xdb packages that I installed from extended, not sure if it'd work with those.
In theory you could use it with this pack, seeing as the other npc pack is in a database form and my pack is in the gamedata folder, I can't confirm this myself however.
I put it right over my current game, at "Meet with Fang" point of play, and up to now there is no new errors. The variety is highly appreciated. No visible problem for my machine and the HD quality is much, much more pleasing for all my eyes. It is so good to see a professional in action: everything works as intended. I can offer my sincere gratitude, dear Sir Stooe.
May the Quality rule the Zone!
Great !
woo thanks @stooe
(no bugs here : Lost ALpha + Extended pack for LostAlpha DC [1.4005] v1.3)

cheeki breeki intensifies
i didnt even noticed its finished .. downloading right now !!
The file stalker_bandit_drunk.ogf causes a crash to desktop when traveling to Dark Valley. Removing that file resolves the issue.
I tried to re-create the crash you experienced, even double checked the user data and anims in ++, if you post the error from your log I'll try to see what's up
[error]Expression : bone<obj->PHGetSyncItemsNumber()
[error]Function : CPHSkeleton::RestoreNetState
[error]File : PHSkeleton.cpp
[error]Line : 246
[error]Description : bone>obj->PHGetSyncItemsNumber() - bone[11], visual name[actors\bandit\stalker_bandit_drunk], id[5884]
Thanks for looking into this issue and for making this addon.
Hmm, I can't say I've ever seen this issue before.
I recompiled a fresh drunk bandit for you (and changed the pants color because why not). If the issue persists, we'll have to find a cure later (thankfully it's only the drunk bandit, who's used only once in the game).
Mediafire.com
Hey stooe , i just saw the extra folder with something special inside .. hahahaha thank you very much mate :P
PS: If there is anything i can do for you then just let me know :)
Thanks Ringel, I'm glad you like 🤡
I think I found a problem with the Extended pack. The player model is still vanilla for all suits. I thinks it's because the Extended pack added the CoP system for suits and headgear, so the game doesn't use the new models.
Thanks for relaying this info, I'm not sure what's needed but I'll do some research (though I know of someone who is working on these right now, I can't say for sure this issue will be fixed).
Think the Extended guys will add this to their pack? They should, it's awesome!
"I think I found a problem with the Extended pack. The player model is still vanilla for all suits. I thinks it's because the Extended pack added the CoP system for suits and headgear, so the game doesn't use the new models."
...testing now...
Yup works fine as long as you leave NPC defaults when installing base game.
Thanks for checking this out for me man
man can u replace spetznaz model with another one? i can send it to u, 1 i saw in weapon addon for ogse 092 and one model in stalker remake if i send u good model will u include it into your mod?
I won't include it in the mod, but I can try to make it work for you to use
well it will be good Yadi.sk
here how model look
Moddb.com TY!
send me their specific textures too, need to associate them in AE or you get grey models.
Couldn't open stalker_soldier_ecolog_face_1 in milkshape
Thank you for the great immersion! Makes a huge difference :)
Before I try to install this with extended pack, is there anything i should know. The description says it's confirmed compatible yet I see bug reports in the comments. Is there anything special I need to do to be able to play with the two together or am I able to install them both regularly and have no problems? If there isn't anything I need to do to get them working, is there a certain one I should install first?
This works with or without extended pack, but I'd install the extended pack first, that way you can make a backup of your folders if you feel it's necessary. Only thing to keep in mind is that these can be system intensive for some, and you can report bugs or crashes here
Thank you more for the adaptation, I have long wanted someone to do this. But could you important characters give unique visuals? In HD Models Pack there are models for the same Wolf, Petrenko, and even not to cover their faces with masks is somehow not right.
The issue is that almost every "unique" npc isn't actually unique. They'll share a mesh with other stalkers (for example, Wolf shares the same mesh as one of the stalkers patrolling the farmstead in Dark Valley) so giving them a unique mesh would give over 100 other stalkers the same mesh. In order to do what you are thinking, the all.spawn would need to be changed which is beyond my knowledge and would change too much to still be compatible with future patches or the Extended Pack. That being said, I opted to use face masks to make it difficult for the human eye to quickly pick up similarities between unique NPC's and non-unique NPC's
Edit: Even with the limitation, certain characters had specific meshes, so people like Ghost, Fang, Doc, Contact, etc have unique meshes.
It's absolutely a great looking pack, but I've been getting a lot of crashes.

and others. Any fixes? I never had this happen until I added the pack.
I'd delete the pack (instructions in desc if needed) and run the game again to make sure, it's easy to reinstall them, my concern is that at least one of those bugs couldn't be related to the pack (bottom one), so there may be an issue else where. Running out of memory could be due to system limitations though I can't be sure what your specs are, did you get these crashes while playing, loading, or launching? Also, do you have prefetching enabled? I'm glad you enjoy them thus far, sorry about the crashes.
I'm always crashing to desktop when I install it with extended pack, however your earlier mod works fine.
Are you launching the game as administrator? Could be an access violation. Is there an error in your logs? Paste it if so. Does your game run fine with only Extended Pack? People can also experience crashing if their pc isn't high end, can be fixed by lowering textures. Any information you can share helps, like where you crashed, if you crashed in game or on launch, etc
I'd just got into free play and thought I'd give this a try. Very impressive models, with decent variety. I'm running the full extended pack, and I'm having no problems at all. I ran through a few different areas, picked some fights with bandits, mutants and mercenaries, with a few zombies for colour. Had a couple psi storms. Runs very smooth, no perceptible slowdowns.
I had one crash to desktop during a transition between levels, (fast travel) but the autosave file was fine.
My system - I5 3.1 ghz, 8 gig of ram, Nvidia 750 ti 2 gig video card.
Thanks for all your work, I love it.
*I'm running 1920 x 1200 with everything maxed except antialiasing, I don't use it with high resolutions. Using the same settings as before I installed this.
