Source Modding Community is exactly what the name sounds like, a community for those interested in modding Valve's various titles. SMC's purpose is to allow all types of modders to connect, share, and build a stronger community.
No games, mods, engines, software or hardware appear to be published or in development by Source Modding Community. We suggest you add games, mods, engines and hardware you are developing here (or update existing games, mods, engines and hardware on the site which should be linked with this Developer & Publisher).

A band of unlikely modders that have nothing better to do with their time!
Hell yeah!We are here!We are a group of guys from MaxedGaming.com.One day we just start making our mod.
There is a need for Modders to make "easy to install mods" for those gamers that are intimidated by replacing files or modding games. I see many comments from gamers that they tried to install mod(s) and can't get them to work. You may have seen the comments yourself. I have been gaming since the 70's, but have only been using mods recently (about 2 years). Since games like Command & Conquer are both popular and available to mod, it would seem to me that it would make sense to make PRE-MODDED games. I think it would be great for gamers to have an option to purchase PRE-MODDED classics that would install just like you would normally install them, and have been tested to play on modern systems. I have seen many modder requests for patronage/support so they can mod full time. What I am saying is simple. Lots more gamers would get mods, and modders would have income for providing pre-modified games that are easy to install. The AncientGamer thanks you and wishes you success. Happy Gaming!
