The Last Lancer is an alternate history mod loosely based on "The Peshawar Lancers" by S. M. Stirling. The point of divergence occurred in 1878, when the earth was struck by a devastating meteor shower, causing a mini-ice age and leaving most of Europe and North America nearly inhospitable. Your journey however begins in 1930, when some semblance of global stability is being re-established and forgotten technologies reinvented after decades of chaos and barbarism. Explore the world of cannibalistic cultists, Angrezi artisans, malthusian martialists, telluric warlords and fierce air-pirates, shaping the future and rediscovering the past.
