A mod for Victoria II Heart of Darkness that continues the legacy of the Divergences : An Alter Vicky mod created by Kinniken. HPM version by Capitanloco6/MajorMajor. In the Divergences mod there are PODs that are not bound to each other. The Duke of Burgundy decides to continue his support for the Plantagenets in the Hundred Years' War. The personal union of Denmark, Norway and Sweden survives and evolves into a unitary state. Isabel of Spain married a Portuguese prince instead of Ferdinand II. The Chenghua Emperor does not stop Ming China's explorations, but decides to pursue them with greater zeal than before.
A compatibility patch has been released to allow Divergences of Darkness to work with Project Alice (https://schombert.github.io/Project-Alice/). Project Alice is an open-source endeavour that aims to re-create Victoria 2 in a new engine, thus allowing modders to bypass previously hardcoded limitations. Though still in alpha stages, Project Alice already has some new features, such as a globe map projection:
Project Alice also boats better performance and loading times, and with time more features are going to be added. Another example is the map culture mode. As in vanilla, by default you are shown the majority culture in each province/1st and 2nd most abundant in the case of pluralities:
If you click a province with majority Kartvelian cutlure, nevertheless, you can now also see all provinces witht that culture shaded according to the percentage of Kartvelians living in them.
If you want to play Project Alice with this mod, remember to apply the fix found in "Map Overlay for Project Alice" found in the download section.

How am I supposed to get Researched Medicine for the Healthcare laws? I have researched medicine in the tech-tree and the flag hasn't unlocked the entire game.

I don't know if this is a Vic 2 thing or intentional but I am unable to declare war for the Nogai providence of Jaik as Muscovy even though I border it. Then later I am unable to establish protectorate when they are only in their capital state, same issiu with Circasia. Love the mod and look forward to what you have planed next.
Hello, I think there are some problems with Kurdistan. For one, Nejd has a disconnected core in the province of Bahdinan which I don't think is intended. Secondly, the event that makes the Ottoman loses cores on Kurdistan after they loses the civil war can only fire if all 4 Kurdish polities are alive - which doesn't account for the player conquering them in the mean time (specially with the infamy reduction). Can it be changed?

Why is Miaphysite called Coptic instead of Miaphysite, and why is the Nestorianism called Assyrian (and for that matter why does Assyria have access to a decision to implement Sharia Law)?
These are all old decisions made by the developers of HPM, I am open to changing them. Renaming Assyrian christianity to Nestorianism would be very easy (I'll definitely do that for the next patch). Miaphyste would require adding a new religion, since Coptic is shared between Armenians and Ethiopians.
I'll look into Assyria being able to enact the Sharia Law, that is definitely not intended.
Thank you. Though why would Miaphysite require a new religion? It's just the theological branch that the Armenians, Copts, Ethiopians and Jacobite Syrians all adhere to. Is there something related to Ethiopian content about it?
Nope, I thought they were separate banches, I know very little of the different Christian sects/denominations. I guess Coptic can just be renamed to Myaphiste then.
