Installing the mod is a very simple, drag and drop process.
To install the mod, copy the SEF folder into your SWAT 4 folder. Copy the whole folder! You should not be overwriting anything! Your SWAT 4 folder is where the game is installed to and contains "Content" and "ContentExpansion"
If your SWAT 4 directory looks something like this, the Mod has been installed correctly.
Now inside the SEF folder, you have the following contents:
- Dedicated Server.bat : Double click to launch a dedicated server to play with your friends on. Note that you can set up options such as maps for e.g. inside the Host Game menu
- LaunchSEF.bat : Double click to launch SWAT: Elite Force. You will know it's working correctly when a new splash screen appears and a modified title graphic appears on the main menu.
- LaunchSwatEd.bat : Double click to launch the Editor. The SwatEd editor allows you to create maps. Here is a tutorial about that that I can personally recommend.
Updating to new version.
Updating versions is as simple as installing the mod is. Make sure you're updating to correct versions or you'll get problems! Simply copy the whole SEF folder over again. This time, you'll definitely be overwriting stuff as it's replacing it with new content.

Make sure that you have the Stetchkov Syndicate expansion, otherwise it won't launch.
I have the same issue, despite having both the main game and the expansion installed, then using the LaunchSEF.bat to launch. A small window comes up for a split second before disappearing. Any idea why?

Hi I have that bug with the audio. If i open teamspeak, the game don't have audio. If I launch swat 4 then teamspeak, swat take control of the audio system then teamspeak can't see the audio driver

cmd only flash once on my desktop and that's all. Tried to run it as Admin, no change. I was putting the updates one by another. Nothing helped.

LaunchSEF.bat says "Wrong disc inserted", I tried it with all .iso files, or it says "No disc inserted" if I disable them. It just won't start.
