Changing Texture in Call Of Duty - Modern Warfare tutorial

strep 1: to locate the pack you need to open the folder of the game (most of the games install on Program Files by the way) and locate the IWD files.

step 2: try to open the IWD files with any extrect program (Try winRar - it's work for me).

step 3:extrct the files in the IWD files to other folder and download the IWI2DDS convector from my download on this site.

step 4:Convert the files to DDS and try to find a good DDS convector (like DDS Converter 2.1 - run search in Google and you will find it) and convert to any editable file (Jpeg,Psd,Png,Gif)

step 5: edit the file you want to change in any graphic program like photoshop.

step 6: download from my download section - iwi convector version 1.5 and convert the dds back to iwi format

final step: now remember the package you extrct from the original game folder and the name of the file you change, back up the original package from the game folder.

create a new file in winrar with all the files form the original you have extract from the beginning include the file you change (remember the original name of the original file - don't forget to overwrite the file you change with the original file).

rar it and change the end file from rar to IWD.(example: change.rar - change.IWD)
