Although secondary considerations include gameplay, lol - but I find that some fast paced games have great play just because it's fast :)
but many gameplays that mods choose suck but when you are in a full server and your killing everything that moves its fun.
where is Uniqueness?

it's all about teh gameplay
i look at fan base, then what the game type is, then the amount of players

i like a big community, so that you have enough time to actually play before it dies out....
the ship for instance, who here wont agree thats the best HL mod ever conceived, uniqueness, looked pretty, played great
but the community was too small, not enough people have DSL to download it or something :-/
so in short : fragfest (ill see YOU in ts) and uniqueness
I Look for good skins, textures, Units. Buildings and in game stuff...
