Well, my pc can run the newest games on slightly above medium (high on some games) but i dont consider it "new" , so its second for me..

my family first pc 98 dad got it from work in 99 and it was used regulary 5 years ago,it still works but cause its pretty original i havent played on it 6 years

Just one question to PC master race. I agree that you are superior to us console players, but why do you hate us? Consoles are keeping the little kids and high ping players(like me) from joining your servers. Are you not glad that consoles are keeping them away? Please give me a logical answer.
Such an answer may come from the fact that Devs nowadays from big companies decide to only allow the "Ultra" setting in their games for consoles. Either that or having a NASA computer. That is one of the reasons, although I don't share such an opinion.

i fell its easier to game on consoles... cause you have the variable movement speeds instead of pressing a button and only being able to go the one speed... thats one of the three reason why i play on console
1. variable movement
2. dont have to worry about specs (though my desktop is topline and can play most games a 100%)
3. if i play through console i dont have to worry about my internet capping since it isnt counted towards the quota
The Main reason PC players hate consoles is alot of games are shifting over and leaving us out of the picture... WTF do you thing they code there games on PC's so why cant they keep up in the loop!!!

Because the console kiddies will never shut up about how their console is the hottest **** since sliced bread, even though they're all pretty much the same.
That and a lot of people who regularly play on the PC like to spend $60 to get the latest big budget AAA games lament how most of those titles have degenerated into cowadooty rehashes and are all console ports.
Me, I'm happy with my timeless games, from Morrowind to the Hat Fortress, and everything in between.

haha are you referring when you say hat- fortress, TF2? lolz but yea every one except me really wants just hats, hats don't help any unless it's a pack with other stuff.
It's not like we hate all console players (only fanboys) and the hardware is not a problem as well it's stupid devs that make games for consoles then ported to PC not the other way around.

because the controllers restrict having more games like strategy or the sims (bad example, the sims suck) from being produced and be successful.

dont care about consoles/consolers, but HATE EA (and others), for making games on PC cuted for consoles - low graphic, bad control, **** gameplay as 4 PC.
most console players believe that consoles are more powerful than computers.
I am a console player mainly because I failed to buy a proper PC in the first place so now I play console games more than my late PC. I for one know that PC is superior in terms of hardware and only idiots will believe otherwise. FPS games are better played on PCs than consoles and I agree with that because I bought Battlefield 3 for my 'invisible' PC so currently I am trying to get enough money to buy a decent one to play with ^^

Heck ,I wish my PC was as powerful as my console. That's why I bought it, because I can't afford an expensive PC.
I Game more on my main rig, but if I get hooked on all those indie games and smaller games (which are easy to run on a old machine) I play either on a laptop and my older single core PC. Of course when i'm on the go I take my iPod for my gaming needs :D.
I mostly play games on console but latly been playing alot more games on my gaming pc from steam deals etc. I been playing alot of tower defence games on pc like Dungeon Defenders latly :D.
I bought my laptop in 2009, it was running almost every game on highest settings back then. Now, if I can play on medium settings, I consider myself lucky.
I can't buy a desktop because I live in a dorm. I need to carry my computer everywhere.

The only way I'd ever play video games on a console is if I could swap out those god-awfully limited and sluggish controllers for a keyboard and mouse. Oh, and if they had hardware that wasn't outdated. And if their games were wide open to modding. And if you could easily create 3rd party programs on their restrictive operating systems.

Lets look how your arguments work against UT3 für PS3:
-Change controllers for mouse and keyboard - No problem
-Newest hardware blablabla - The game is so old you can play it on highest settings so no new Hardware in need plus you can change the hdd for a bigger one
-Game wide open to modding - yup you can mod for the ps3 ut3
-the whole blablabla systembla - possible (well if you are actually so fluent with programming you should have no problem to get that running that you want)
So taking your arguments into account i come to the conclusion that you do have a ps3 / you would buy a ps3 / you would play ut3 on ps3
SO... He'd play maybe one or two moddable games for the ps3 that don't have state of the art graphics even though one his reasons for playing pc is that they do have state of the art graphics?

PC but since BF3 came out, my PC had a heart attack. So now I have to only play one of my most favorite PC games on a console DX

My PC sucks, so I guess it's old. Since my PC sucks, I use my console to game though. However, I'm hoping to get a better PC though. With a quad core! Finally!
My PC isn't new, but certainly not outdated. If my PC were to die tomorrow, I'd dig up and rebuild my old DELL Office PC and reinstall Windows before resorting to any console.
Console for shooters and PC for everything else.

Not a Call of duty fan.I play Battlefield, though, on console because I will not spend so much money on an upgrade just to have a slightly(?) better experience. Also, because I prefer a joystick/controller because it (In my opinion) is more comfortable when I take out the bad guys.
But do you have any idea what you're missing out on?

I put a question mark next to it to propose a opinion, and why do you care about visuals, I like the gameplay of Battlefield. But, it would be nice to look at some beautiful scenery for once :(
