I've tried to download Freelancer / Crossfire mod with the 1.3 mod manager But dont seem to get the crossfire mod to activate the other mods work like the beam weapon but those mods kind of unmake the game.
Do you have any Ideas
I think a big issue is the fact all reviews are now public [please let me know if this is not the case] and as such I, for one, feel pressured to give games and mods higher scores than I may have normally, because I know there's an off-chance people may see the ratings I have given.
You shouldn't feel pressured. You're giving them constructive criticism and they should take into consideration with what you have said. You are part of the community that follow them after all!
People will only complain about your reviews if you put small descriptions saying, for example "This game is rubbish." and give them a low rating. If you have reasoning behind your rating, people should have nothing against you.
It's easy to say that, but from experience I can assure you people take such ratings very seriously. As someone else said, there should be a clear difference between rating a game and reviewing it, preferably a rating system that gives the user some form of privacy.
Awww, the new system got rid of my review. What about people that just like a mod and add it to ModDB for the author? (with their permission of course, which I got.) Seems odd to not allow the uploader to review in that case.
I like the idea, but I think that it's terrible that anyone can simply browse any score you ever gave a game. What's next? People will be able to see who you gave negative comment scores too? This thing needs some privacy settings.
Had a couple of reviews of some portal mods.
The system deleted my reviews too, just contact them and they will email you the lost text. Can't say I like the new shortened capabilities for reviews tho.
Launched our new review system: Moddb.com hence the poll.
Go rate new and old games and mods you have played!

No off topic things here, plz.
At this momment I made some really basic reviews... Whe I got some time I will improve them.
Well same here
Yeah, i have reviewed some mods but i added short description to it.
Yes, but not here on ModDB :P
Maybe I should. Soon.
I wrote a review here and there on the old review system. They've all been deleted now though. :(
Personally, I dislike the new review system. The old one allowed for more detail and professionalism which I prefered.
I can restore them if you want, also you can "still post" features which allow for great detail images etc.

2nd. Sucks to be here before the new system.
I like reviewing games.Especially when they deserve to be rated.
it helps to not just review the games you like, but provide constructive feedback to all mods.
at the moment too many reviews are "10". i'm going to have to start normalizing the ratings to combat this trend

I mean, some mods are just bad by the media they post.
Yes, minecraft. :p Pretty big review.
I'm planing on reviewing frequently. When I find the time I'll start reviewing my favorite, least favorite, and in-between mods.

Mod DB is getting better and better! :D
I will sure try to review some mods and indies I like pretty soon! ;)
Only problem is Moddb acts like I reviewed mods even if I just rated them. There must be a difference between these two.
I can't believe the new system deleted all the old reviews >.>

I like that new system :)
Can't wait to try this out, expect plenty of rants :D.
I don't think I'm good enough for writing reviews. I just can't write so much text...
Just did a quick one for Gen:Zero Hour to test out the system. Will do more later. Too busy getting videos ready for articles right now.
Lol 666 Yes right now.
I reviewed Call Of Duty Black Ops. Tho that was only so i could have it for free lol. :P
