Hi all,
We are currently planning a World War 2 Mod where the galaxy map will be changed into a world map and the planets into cities and places.
Get to command as the Russians, Axis or Allied Forces on your quest to take over the world and restore peace.
Units will be added and space battles will not be space battles will disappear.

we should do sea battles instead of space but not get rid of it completly
Completely agree, use the different levels for marine and sub-marine vessels, and then the fighter levels for aircraft, however maybe spread those out over the remaining levels as well per class of aircraft of course.

dogfights instead of space battles?
so any progress?
I would also love it if you could make one going back to the time of the American revolution, British Empire etc. Then it will be intersting, especially sea battles.

Ey! I was ******* about a WW2 mod for this game today already, and look what I found!
I love all the ideas inthe comments- as well as in the post. Many of these ideas I alrighty thought of while working out my little plans. Though the difference is that I have a scifi WW2 version in mind, and the story etc. has already been worked out (along with countless infantry, faction, vehicle and technology design). Would you be interested in hearing out my ideas?

This will be cool. You should have heros be generals like Patton and Rommel. Maybe they could command enhanced tanks. Also make aircraft carriers that have runways instead of hangers and can launch fighters. Instead of planets there should be land zones like west Germany, east Germany, Quebec, mood east and west USA, etc.
