"No. I Think We're Just Getting Started"

In this Article we would like to show our current situation and what are our plans right now.

Hello again! Now you may be confused and asking yourself "what the hell are those doing on AS2?!" well let's get started.

CTA is a great game, but it has a terrible mod support for the community and it has broken most of our stuff. We can't afford to spend any more time on such an instable game and for this reason we were forced to go back to MOWAS2.

We hope they don't broke this too...

We currently have no reason to left MOWAS2 right now. The only chance of this happen is with the release of "Gates of Hell" if it do be more stable and offer a much better mod support as they promised.

We're really sorry about this mess,

But this was certainly necessary for the good of the mod and ourselves.

We really hope to bring this project to the community as soon as we can.

"We really want to release this, unlike.."

Sincerely, The Basement Team.

Hello everyone.I had a question.Does anyone know why assault squad 2 maps don't ever run or work on both men of war and assault squad 1?

off topic question you're asking, AS2 maps are made in the GEM 2 engine but modified for the details and stuff. The early GEM 2 engine is from Faces of War. I had the same problem while making a Condemned Heroes Remaster in AS2.

Thank you very much for replying.
You are saying that I can never run as2 maps on as1 or men of war original because of the old GEM 2 engine?

Yes, I'm sorry for the late reply.
AS2 has a modified engine and can't support many older maps expect, from what I seen, Berlin. And yes, your reply is what I'm saying

It was very kind of you.
I think there might be a method for solving this problem because I believe that nothing is impossible.
