Hello, everyone that’s reading this. I want to say thank you for the continued and unending support of this mod. I think all of you deserve to know what’s going on right now with the mod and the future of it.

The Abyss team has seen a few members leave and new ones join. This brings some good news and some bad news. The good news is that most of the team is eager to work on the mod and we’re going along at a steady pace. The bad news is that most of our work is being remade and scrapped, which means that we don’t have a ton of presentable content to show you right now and the eventual release of the mod may be pushed back a bit.

Another important thing to touch on is that the Abyss is being restructured- we will no longer be doing the whole storyline. However, we will be doing everything from City 17 to the end of the Air Exchange. This smaller scope will help us create a more polished and enjoyable experience in a smaller amount of time. It’s also slightly more feasible to complete, however if it is liked, we may make a part 2.

Finally, the demo that was originally going to be released in September of this year is going to be pushed back indefinitely. We don’t know when it will be completed, and we cannot give an ETA at the current time.

We have a lot of content that’s going to come out Soon.

rock on boys, ya'll do whatcha gotta do

Possibly as i said, if it's liked pretty well we'll likely make a part 2.

Hey, just saw this. I'd like to let you know that, though my time with the team was brief and I left do to a very busy personal life, I very much enjoyed working with you all. So, with that said, if you are ever in need of someone to play test or touch anything up, let me know, I'm still willing to help here an there when needed.
