We Have a Release Date! news

Happy greetings all,

Today I have the happy pleasure of bearing good news. By the time this post is authorised and made public many of you will already have glimpsed our initial announcements here or on our Facebook page, but what the hey - good news is worth repeating in detail and ad nauseam!

It's true - we're finally ready to announce the official release date for the beta release of Ages of the Federation. And that date is...

Yes, in just over two weeks you'll be able to play the beta version of Ages of the Federation, complete with both the fully functional Federation and Klingon factions and a number of minor factions. Let the Four Years War begin!

We're looking forward to giving all of you a glimpse at Ages of the Federation. We'd like to thank all our beta testers. It's been a long road, getting from there to here, but you''ve been a part of the journey and your efforts have been invaluable and much appreciated.

We'll probably be spending the next two weeks scrambling to make last-minute adjustments, but at the rate at which we're working, barring any major disasters, the beta will absolutely be ready by May 13. We know you're looking forward to finally being able to play the mod, but in truth we're looking forward even more to hearing what you think. Your feedback is going to be absolutely vital as we continue on to the full release, so don't be shy. Be gentle, but not shy.
