The Vision Summit 2016 has announced its keynote speaker lineup, and it includes a number of high-profile individuals at the forefront of VR development.
Valve's Gabe Newell will be delivering an address via video, while Oculus' Palmer Luckey, Google's new VP of Virtual Reality Clay Bavor, and Unity CEO John Riccitiello will be on stage. Also joining them is Dr. Richard Marks, PlayStation Magic Lab's director, who had a significant role in the creation of PlayStation VR.
The event is described as being for "...Artists, engineers, programmers, designers, musicians, directors and producers, hardware manufacturers and researchers. It will be a unique event focused on furthering the knowledge base of anyone developing virtual and/or augmented reality content."
The summit takes place February 10-11 in Hollywood, California, and the keynote will be livestreamed on February 10 at 10AM PST. Attendees will be able to demo new VR experiences in the Virtual Reality Showcase, some of which were previously seen at the SteamVR Developer Showcase, while some are entirely new.
