Vietnam | Glory Obscured - Hydra Status Update
Things are moving along well with the NVA faction. It is essentially code complete, art is almost done, and ground work for the AI is in process. New maps are being created as well. The way the NVA plays is quite different than anything we've seen before and we hope it feels fresh and new to everyone when it's finally released.
The Utility Factory (left image) builds all the support units such as the Mechanic and theType 85 ARV. It has the Watch Tower module and the SA-2 module shown on it. These modules occupy slots on the structure and can be swapped out for other modules. The Watchtower spots hidden units and shines a light on them. The SA-2 is a long range missile that will track any air unit in range.
The Medium Factory (right image) builds all medium rated units such as the T54 Tank and the Sharpshooter. In the picture the Pillbox module and the ZPU4 module can be seen. The pillbox is the anti infantry solution to structure defenses and the ZPU4 is the quick and cheap solution for AA.
Pegasus v1.3 - Show Us Your Air strikes!
VGO forum user Eb12345 has posted some screen shots of his air strikes. And he wants to see more! So show us your biggest and most destructive air strikes and bombing runs, the more epic the better.
Others have already begun to heed the call and posted their own screens of epic destruction. A few that users have already posted can be seen below.
So what are you waiting for? Boot up the most recent version of VGO (Pegasus v1.3) and start raining destruction down upon everything!

This Month in Vietnam - April 1968
U.S. forces in Operation Pegasus finally retake Route 9, ending the siege of Khe Sanh. A 77 day battle, Khe Sanh had been the biggest single battle of the Vietnam War to that point. The official assessment of the North Vietnamese Army dead is just over 1,600 killed, with two divisions all but annihilated. But thousands more were probably killed by American bombing.

when do you predict the NVA will be complete?
We are hoping by the end of the summer if everything goes as planned, but life tends to get in the way of things, so we'll see.
