Our liquid-physics based puzzle platformer 'Vessel' is now slated to release on March 1st! PC launch is first with the game available on Steam or DRM free on StrangeLoopGames.com.

Vessel was a finalist in the 2010 Indie Game Festival for Technical Excellence, and a finalist that same year for the Indie Game Challenge. The key mechanic of the game is bringing simulated liquid to life in the form of Fluros, liquid-formed creatures that perform labor for humans but begin to adapt to their environments.

We released two videos with our announcement, the first is an Invention Report by the main character Arkwright, explaining his Fluro invention:

We'll be releasing Invention Reports #2 (Seeds) and #3 (The Accelerator) soon.

Our second video is a developer playthrough giving an in-depth look at our liquid mechanics and how we create puzzles out of them:

More to come, thanks for watching.

Thank you! We've licensed the music of Jon Hopkins so it's all his music for the soundtrack, remixed to change fitting the puzzle you're solving. Works really well.

There's nowhere on my PC that will accept my wallet. I tried throwing it at the screen but I stil don't have your game. In which direction do I throw my money? If I just shove a fistful of cash into the CD drive will that work? Take my money!

Yeah we picked the music really early in development and the mood of the game has grown around it, the result feels very coherent and whole I think. We're going to do a video explaining all the cool stuff we're doing with the music and sound soon.

looks interesting!
It seems strange to have liquid form up in such big droplets at first, but it somehow fits the overall look - somewhat a little plump and crooked and very playful, strange and fascinating...

I´m definitely curious!
