Just when you thought this mod was dead, think again! Version 2.0 is actually undergoing development and should be available in the somewhat undefined, intangible, but nearby future. This will include two new mini quests, as well as several new mod integrations, and other goodies!
Upgrading to UP 6.8
Wesp has continued to release new versions of the Unofficial Patch, now at 6.8, so
in my efforts to keep as many mods unified as possible, CQM is going
to absorb those changes. The latest updates celebrates the 5th
anniversary of the game’s release, and includes a ton of restored
models and several bug fixes, enhancements.
Upgrading to Camarilla Edition 1.2
Camarilla Edition, a mod already merged into Clan Quest mod, has released a newer version since the last edition of CQM, so we will keep up to date with CE as well! CE 1.2 adds an insane amount of new features including revised disciplines, revised combat, new dialog, skins, and much more.
Music Mod
The installer will include the VtM:B Music Mod, as one of the
installation options. This mod totally revises all of the music
throughout the whole game, including the radio tracks and ambient
background music. I have to say, after playing it, it really adds a
new vibe to the game, and colours the soundtrack with a more unique
flavor.
Custom Models/Skins
The installer will now also pre-package a bunch of NPC and PC
character skins/models, so that you can pick and choose characters you
would like to see a unique flare to. These are skins mostly collected
from moddb, but this saves the user the hassle of downloading and
installing the skins individually.
Difficulty Mod / P&P Combat Mod
A second developer, John Palmer, has volunteered his time and skills to help merge in
these two classic mods for Bloodlines which makes the combat in the game significantly
more challenging and dynamic.
More New Quests
A professional writer has volunteered to help with writing and voice
acting for many, many new quests of his own design! I’ve seen his
notes and quest concepts, and it all looks really promising. This new
set of quests will initially start small, and in even later editions,
more complex quest lines will be introduced. These quests are open to
all clans, and this first edition of new quests is slated to include
vigilante-style themes.

Continue to keep your eyes on CQM for more updates and for an official release date.
Oh, yes! My prayers have been answered! How nearby future are we talking about; are there any point starting a new game on the old version?
Thank you for your hard work!
I wish I could say tomorrow but ... I am waiting on some materials from other people, so there is no telling how long that would take.
And after those changes, have to give a final round of testing *wink* and package it up for distrobution.
Sadly, too early for concrete dates yet
Well, let me know when you have something you need tested out, and I'll help you. Your time is too valuable to do simple testing, hah
Should make a whole new game...
Waou ! thanks again for your work !
I really LOVE this game.
Too bad we won't be able to play a sequel...
well now we have un-official patch 6.9...
I hope you will be able to integrate it in your release
Hah, yea I saw that. I did merge the changes from 6.9 in over the weekend. I just haven't updated the news yet. It's great, because now I'm up-to-date, keeping up with newer editions is a snap.
There's some good bug fixes in this release as well. Histories Revised works and does exactly what the in game descriptions say, and is optional on the installer, just like the two difficulty mods.
I seriously cannot wait for this mod! I put together a new rig a couple of weeks ago, reinstalled all my games, and got the itch to have some blood-sucking fun. Hard decision to make now though - do I wait for this mod to be released before I play, or do I load UP6.9 and try to get a whole playthrough done in the meantime... Oh cruel fates!!!
Thanks in advance for all the work though =D
While I really don't know how much longer it will be, I can say testing is around the corner, so I'll ask burgermeister01 to keep ya in mind if you want.
