Here's the lastest news for my mod Morrowind Rebirth..

Posted by on

Hi boys & girls, I hope you've had a nice weekend!

Here's the lastest news for my mod Morrowind Rebirth.

* I've been working hard this week to finish some of the many new interiors featured in Morrowind Rebirth. I'm not sure I'll have a chance to finish them all until release-day, or how to approach this matter. Perhaps I'll attach a script that keep these areas locked until completion.

* I plan to implement (or borrow actually) a system that keeps all the shops etc closed during nighttime. (8 am - 8 pm). What are your thoughts regarding this?

* You can now buy vials of Poison from Ra'virr. These are throwable and can also used as a trap, they brake when stepped on. Pretty cool in my opinion! Thanks goes to Arcimaestro Anteres.

* At least but not last. I have plans to make a small BETA-release in the beginning / middle of Feb. This will be a limited offer, and only a few will have the chance to get their hands on it. If you're interested please give me small text stating why you should have this opportunity ;)

Nah 10 is too late in my view.

Yes this BETA will be limited so only a few people will have a chance. It's intended to fix bugs and other things that I might have screwed up,

Yes it is.. but then I don't trust everyone either until it's released. I don't want anyone to upload it further, and that risk will be much higher if loads of people have the chance to test it. I've also had issues with people taking credit for the mod themself etc.. so that's why I'm doing it this way.

The others only have to wait two months or so from now ;)

1. It is bad idea. It will be better to give normal beta-version without locking scripts.
2. Realism it is for real life, not for games.
3. Interesting idea.
4. I will localize your mod into russian.

I like these ideas as always.
Simulation is always great to see in such an epic game. Hopefully the bars are still open at night. And I hope you can break into homes at night too, just like in Oblivion.
The vials sound great. Reminds me of Hexen.

Shishkinbar:
1. I know, but I'm not sure I'll have the time to finish all the interiors in time, and I don't want to push the releasedate any further. There won't be a lot of unfinished things, just a few houses.

2. Actually there's a lot of people who do like the realism in this matter. I'm not sure yet, although it will probably not be implemented in the first release.

3-4 Great, thanks.

Booman:
Ofc the bars will still be open. I only plan to do this with shops and some Manors. I'll keep the homes unchanged.

2. After deleting of mod all doors which was closed will dissapear. I had tests with it in my mod. Then if you setup mod again, doors will not appear.

How I tested it:
1. Saved game.
2. Deleted mod.
3. Loaded game, saw bugs.
4. Setup mod again.
5. Frustration.
