Sorry for not posting in a while, but we have been doing work on the mod. Our team has expanded from 5 to 10, maybe 11, members, each with different roles, and they have been getting work done. More details on the post.

Sorry for not posting in a while, but we have been doing work on the mod. Our team has expanded from 5 to 10, maybe 11, members, each with different roles, and they have been getting work done.

We have acquired 1, possibly 2, programmers for The Sickness. We also have 2 concept artists, a modeler, 2 level designers (one being myself), and 3 audio guys. We have been holding weekly meetings in between classes to work and catch up on everything. The script is near finalization and the other level designer and I have been learning the editor. Our modeler has been busting out models for house props, and has been doing very well. Our audio team is working on music and sound effects. Our concept artists are working on character concept to get our modeler some characters to make. Last but not least, our programmer has been learning the code for the scripts and has been able to make the imps unable to shoot fireballs.

The only problem we are really having that is preventing a big breakthrough in work is the fact that we cannot figure out how to import custom models into the editor, as we have a too advanced version of the modeling software and an exporter was not made for it, but there is another way to get it done from what I hear, so our modeler is working to figure that out.

I have found out how to import custom textures into the editor, and I have started the layout for the first level. I do not have an estimate as of yet how long it will be until it is finished, but I am working on it. There are a few pictures in the gallery of the work our team has been doing.

If I can I will try and make another news post before the month is over. We will try to have the first level finished and possibly some character models.
