Well.. I been thinking for a while, and here's how PTSD 2's future is going to end: If I do not finish PTSD 2 by 2020, I will release it on Christmas/New years eve, AS it is currently.
(Or at least with a basic ending I have planned as a failsafe) I don't expect many to like this.. But I think it's the best option for me and everyone.
Until then however, I will do my absolute best to make it a good, final source mod, as I don't expect i'm ever (probably) gonna make another source 1 mod again, due to Source 2 being right around the corner...
So from today onward, the official release date for PTSD 2 will be... NEW YEARS, OR EARLIER. However, I do also have some final future plans for PTSD in Source 2... And VR...
So do stay tuned in 2020. Until then, Let's hope I can do a final push and finish this dang mod before 2020 then.
Thanks everyone for sticking around until now. The reason I made this choice, is that I simply cannot continue to work on PTSD 2 beyond 2020.
I want to move on to new projects and improve myself, but I cannot do that because PTSD 2 is holding me down, always in the back of my head every day calling "Finish me, Finish me!" I guess in the end, the real final boss of PTSD 2... Was, well.. PTSD 2 itself.
So this will be a fail-safe, to make sure PTSD 2 WILL release, unfinished or not. That is all, thanks.

Genuinely excited to see what people can do with Source 2, I can't imagine it being strapped to a proprietary VR headset for long!
Definitely, we'll hopefully get a huge influx of both amazing VR and Desktop mods/games made with Source 2. I know for sure that i'll start working on some map pack for HL:A, once I finished the game!
Very excited to move on, and expand my horizons. Obviously I hope PTSD 2 will be a good final source mod by me though, so I will try my best.
Wether we get influx of modders/developers depends on the tools honestly. Can't exactly call Source 1 professional if it crashes all the ******* time
Christsmas rushing is never a good idea. Try not to rush!
New years is final, I will not be working on it more, aside from any major bug fixes once its 31st.
I hope you'll fix some bugs. Don't forget to add a game more polish.
It's a tough choice but do what you gotta do.
