Just thought I'd make an appearance here, so it doesn't look that deserted...
Although I don't post about it here, the mod is taking great progress, and we're currently planning on adding a new research & technology system, in order to provide more room for tactical decisions (like, "Do I spend the last few seconds before the rush to develop new walls, or will I start research on Tesla-technology and hope I can get a coil before they come...?).
The units added by the current internal beta are Korean Commando, Commando Cyborg, Black Conscript and Anthrax Warrior, as well as all planned combat-helicopters.
In case you're interested in more information on the progress, I strongly recommend visiting the actual site ( Destructionmod.com ); you can see the todo-list there, news are posted more often, and if a certain question is not answered, you can always ask in the forums (registration not required).
