Hi there, everyone! Today, I have the pleasure of sharing a series of brand new concept art pieces with you all. These concepts were created by our Environment Concept Artist, Andrew Pray, and they feature a combination of both Blender and Photoshop techniques to create a really unique style. These are concepts for just a handful of rooms that are featured in our level, so we’re excited to give you this sneak peak into the visual direction of The Hunted.

In addition, we’d also like to report that gameplay development has been moving along very smoothly. We currently have network functionality up and running and we’re working on setting up team mechanics and getting the system to instantiate players properly. Once that’s done we’ll be able to move right along into internal team testing (our alpha stage) while we continue to make updates to the level and refine the gameplay on an iterative basis.

Lastly, we do want to let everyone know that we are still looking for a handful of talented individuals to fill a couple of remaining slots on the team, most notably Environment Artists, Texture Artists, Character Modelers, Character Animators, and Scripters/Coders (with C++ and/or Source experience, preferably). We have some members on the team that are already fulfilling many of these roles, but we are always on the lookout for additional team members with the right skills to help bolster our roster. So, if you’re interested in joining our development team, just head on over to our website at Thehuntedgame.com and be sure to fill out an application.

Well that’s it for now! Be sure to stay tuned though; we’ll be back soon to share some character concept art and keep you up to date with further progress reports!
