Dreamscape: Pin Point Blank is moving along very well now. We have a mapper assigned to every level planned in the mod. The good news is that many of them are making considerable progress. :)
The following screenshots show off our newly implemented HUD, designed by Rainman.
The HUD contains the 2D Human cutout, which was used in our old hud as well. This displays pin point damage. Along with the pin point damage, the player must be aware of his blood. This is represented by the red drop icon. The swirl icon represents the player's Sanity level. Stealth is represented by the green icon. The black icon and the accompanying text represents ammo. The mission bar, located at the bottom center of the screen, displays mission objectives and other neat stuff like player stats. The top right of the screen consists of the Radar and Item/Weapon selection hud elements.
Here we have nightvision goggles. It is an item like any other in the mod ( Eg. sanity pills, bandage ). Next month we will be showing off other cool new features such as our conversation system. This will be a lot like what you have seen in Deus Ex and KOTOR.
