Dear, dear, Mr. Guest. (Nice name you have, I think I have seen you before on certain places)
Are you sure your writing in right news post?
If so, then I want to see your marbelous mods.
If your so cocky, they you must be a great modder, or?

OK guys. Tried the demo
Some pointers
1. Don't place those fast moving zombies around corners. It's supposed to be suprising, and the FIRST time, it was. but after a while it just got annoying.
2. More scripted events? I saw some combines fighting zombies, but it was just a single, small thing
3. What mood are you trying to generate? I never felt frightened, or swarmed. The levels seemed sparse and linear. Try to add some dynamicism and "swarm" to certain places.
4. My guns / eqipmment were not kept between the levels, i just got new stuff and often had less
additionally, having no crowbar was a pain.
That's about it, :D
A mod should never be released this early...
I will wait at least half a year before trying other mods then Plan of Attack..
4 months and this is what you have to show?
I really don't understand your logic in having a demo release, if you are trying to draw in more players and build hype releasing some terrible SP map pack isn't the way to go.
Custom coloured HUD and re-coloured arms, and maybe a custom box object is all that I saw that was new. The maps themselves are just average and amatuar fullstop.
I guess you guys don't realize that its a DEMO. This is only a tiny taste of whats to come. We will have modified content. The fact you play as a combine soldier is a mod in itself. An insault to this mod is an insault to me. If you think its crap LETS SEE YOU DO BETTER!! F**K!!
Puppet_That_Kills
Combine Destiny Mapper.
I agree on both points:
1) This IS a demo and no-one can expect to see all the stuff that they have planned. Nagging about that is like nagging about the pair of jeans that you're yet to buy.
2) The mapping is rather poor and despite the fact that this is a demo, the stuff that IS included in a demo should be of the same quality that you're going to offer in the real thing. Afterall, a demo SHOULD represent the final product in terms of quality. This works both ways. The players get to play something good and the mod author gets a bunch of very interested future players, perhaps even a fanbase!
3) This is particulairy aimed at "Puppet_That_Kills"; telling people that they should do better isn't a valid argument to critism. That would be like VALVe saying to the Half-Life fanbase; "Gee, real bugger that you have run into an infamous bug but why don't you stop complaining and build something better?". Also, saying that people should do better isn't smart to say, NOT on a place with ModDB, where it is swarming with mod-authors. Among the hundreds of mod-authors, there are bound to be at least a dozen who can do better.

Sorry about what I said. I was in a (VERY) bad mood that day. But just you wait until the mod is finished. Its gonna rock!
Puppet
After looking at the screenshots I really didn't feel any reason to download this, and after reading the feedback I'm sure my sentiment is accurate. Download Leon's SP pack instead (linear as it may be) and wait for the authors of this one to get a bit further into production.
