Hey there once again!
Its me sáruna. Today i want to talk about the effects that are in the game! When it comes to things that make the game great the effects are one of them!
Lightning or Particles.. They are both very important!
Lightning for making the mood and atmospere right. And particles for other factors like enhancing the combat and making the player more immersed in the game.
But you are here to see stuff and not to read my boring text right? :p
Godrays (WIP)
Godrays are perfect for making the skies not so empty! But it might be too much. Will see if we use them! :D
Indoor Lights
Volumetric Light Effect. Very similiar to the Godrays, But its used indoors and usually with moving objects.
Spot Light.
Glow (And Other General Effects)
We also have a new team member! MysterAC
He is a experienced particle artist with a strong background. And he remade a lot of the stock Half-Life particles for the mod.

Heyo, I'm keeping a low profile, but I'm always check for a new stuff. Keep up the good work, these particles look real nice, I see that FAS inspired you a lot, that's a very good inspiration source, Valdis Matas is the king of Source engine VFX.

MMOD, from what I gather, is just some garbage to make the game more like cowadoody, complete with literally blinding the player with blurry rainbows every time you get hit.
I suspect it was made by the people that somehow liked Hunt Down the Freeman and the cinematic mod.
What you said doesnt make any sense.. Well maybe you dont like it but that doesnt mean MMod is garbage. It has a rich options menu and you can turn everything off.. When MMod started development HDTF wasnt even born.. And cinematic mod was probably in its very early stages...

Godrays tend to be garbage in many games cause it's too much. First GIF that showed Godrays was just right, not too much and not too little, for me it was just right, enough to make it look perfect!
