Hey gang, Zach here with some unfortunate news. I've just been informed by Alex that his father has passed away, and as it relates to Tension this has obviously put a hiatus on his ability to work on the project. Here are a few words from him:
have consumed over 100% of my time and energy.. I haven't had any chance to work
with Tension as I was caring for my parents. Hopefully Zach can find some good
content for you to munch on, but right now I'm taking a hiatus, not sure of how long
but I will be back as soon as feasible. Thank you all for your continued support.
I know I don't have to tell you guys, but we would ask that you be supportive of Alex and respect his privacy until such time as he sees fit to return to Tension.
So that's the bad news, now the good: I'm happy to say that, for the first time in months, I'm once again finding myself with a lot of free time. In Alex's absence, I'll be temporarily in charge of news posts and new media, so hopefully with my newfound free time I'll be able to keep producing content in spite of the circumstances.
On the mapping front, we've finally got the pieces in place – we know how the maps will be layed out, and the lighting is finally where we want it (the fact that there's so much vertical space to work with has made good lighting a real challenge, but we've figured it out). All we need now is to get some proper models and textures in place, then get mapping!
Sorry about the lack of media this time, but the first of what I hope will become an actual map is currently in progress. Pics soon!
I'll keep you informed of any further developments, until then thank you for staying with us despite our sometimes long absences, and once again best wishes to Alex.

I'm extremely sorry for your loss, Alex. Hopefully you and your family make it through this time of sorrow and tragedy. I'm sure everyone here feels the same to thank you for taking even a second out of your life right now to let us know what's happened and to take all the time you need.
And thank you Zach for informing us as well and being a great friend to Alex.
