I think it was obviously a joke, but it's a shame. It would have made for a very interesting faction, both as a full AI adversary to play against and also a very different feeling faction to play as.
Given that you already have some of the assets and due to the simplicity of their design asthetic, it would be great if you could consider them for a future full faction if you ever get the chance in the future.
While you may have guessed it, many didn't and others may come across this post in the future so best to spell it out clearly.
Noooo! Please No! Any upcoming Updates? More Factions? Tholians? Xindi? Maybe early Borg like in the Enterprise episode? Id also kill for Vucans and Andorians
