Welcome to the final week for Legrand Legacy! Before we dive into today's update, we wanted to mention that we have a new Thunderclap campaign going on right now... and we need your support! You can sign in with any of your social media accounts and with a couple of clicks add your support to the cause. When we hit the final 48 hours, a shout will go out on social media about Legrand Legacy hitting its final 2 days of crowdfunding.
There is a lot for you to do as you Legrand Legacy, from exploring its towns, markets, and underground dungeons, to slaying gruesome monsters and gathering or crafting items. You have experienced this in our Pre-Alpha Prologue. However, there are a few cool things we plan to add to Legrand Legacy once funded to make the game even more enjoyable and challenging – and one of them is Tactical war!
We thought you, our backers, would appreciate getting a first look at this feature. Please note that this s is currently a work-in-progress element, so the designs and screenshots below are certainly not final.
You’ll have generals to select and use during Tactical War. As you can see from the image below, every general has his/her own strengths and weaknesses, which you must always keep in mind when planning your strategy.
Before you decided what to do next, you can check the available information in order for you to evaluate your odds.
Once you’re ready, you take your turn and make your move.
If you’re good to go, you can select to attack one of the available targets within your range for a battle to commence.
Each general will also have a special arcana that can certainly be of great use during Tactical War. Just be careful to evaluate your options so that you can maximize its potential!
As you venture through the many locations of Legrand Legacy you will also be able to recruit some War Generals to your cause, as is the case of Rogar, who is one of Azzam’s loyal apprentices.
Here’s the 3D model for Rogar.
Once funded we will also add new War Generals to the game as part of the Social Media Bonus Goals that you’re helping us to achieve, so be sure to follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook to do your part and help the cause!
