Hello everyone! Today is a big day for the BFME2 community.
Ever since the EA's BFME2 servers were taken offline, we and many other BFME2 fans have been waiting and wishing for the servers to return.
Wait no more! As promised, we are releasing BFME2 server support!
Ever since we released T3A:Online for BFME1, we have been bombarded by people asking us if and when we would release it for BFME2.All you need to do is download and install the client, create an online account over at our forums, and you'll be all set to log into the servers.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WHAT DOES T3A:Online for BFME2 DO?
- It restores BFME2's online functionality
- It eliminates the need for third party software (such as Hamachi or GameRanger)
- It is compatible with all mods and game patches (provided the person you're playing is using the same game version)
- It features a working buddy system
WHAT DOES T3A:Online for BFME2 NOT DO?
- It does not have the quickmatch system (yet).
- It does not support stats or ladders (yet).
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO USE T3A:Online?
- A clean version of BFME2, preferably patched to 1.06 (the last official patch EA released).
- A Revora forum account (the name you choose becomes your T3A:Online account name)
- A special password set in your Revora account settings (the password you choose will become your T3A:Online password. It should be unique and not used anywhere else)
WHAT ABOUT RISE OF THE WITCH-KING?
- We are working on RotWK, no release date yet.

Have fun playing!
How problematic would applying this patch to an already modded (fully patched too ofc) install be? (Question goes for BFME 1 & 2)
It will not affect the game in any way, mods still work just fine. This just gives you the ability to connect to the online feature and play if you have an account at Revora.
So it would be fine to install it over a previously modded (and thus not "clean") version of the game?
Well, you would definitely decrease the chance of issues if your mods were done using the -mod command instead of directly editing the installation folder...
When is the news of this mod going to be about this mod? I'm not trying to be an douche, just saying it's been a while....

Amazing! Great work on the reverse engineering. I'd love to know the inner details of how it works internally and some info about the protocol. Kudos for the initiative, BFME II is one of the games I'm most fond of.
i keep getting login timed out when trying to log in how do i fix this?
Just a heads up guys when ROTWK is done (the version of this to which I am waiting for) I will probably host some matches on old custom maps that I found again by searching the web (such as the two person minas tirith or edoras). It shall be time soon to revive the good old days. I would also like to thank the creators of this for finding a solution superior to that of hamachi.
whenever i try to play with my friend it says that he has a diffrent version of a game .. but we both have v1.06 .. anybody know the solution ?
If you guys don't mind me asking, is there a good fan base behind this new online server? I'm thinking of getting back into playing BFME 2. Since the EA shutdown, I haven't touched the game to much...
Thanks,
Brandon
