Post news RSS SuperDuper Quake 3.0 Coming Along Nicely

I've put the code through the ringer and it's come out the other side quite nicely. Added some things, removed some things, rearranged a lot... I think everyone is going to like the changes. I've got the first 10 levels or so hard coded, but I'd like to get that up to 20. The player starts out with the shotgun and axe, level 1. There are two levels to every weapon: basic and kick-ass. Levels progress on a 10% geometric progression: every level costs 10% more frags than the previous level.

The player starts out with the shotgun and axe, level 1. There are two levels to every weapon: basic and kick-ass. Levels progress on a 10% geometric progression: every level costs 10% more frags than the previous level, unlocking more weapons, powerups, etc. Higher levels also bring tougher monsters in to the game.

There are no menus or skill trees or classes. This is Quake RPG, Super Duper Style.

Stay tuned!
